Anyone else having a problem with the armor not showing up, had to wipe the ini-files recently because of a re-install and now the Chosen Armor will not show up in customization.
Dęąth Viper 27. nov. 2022 kl. 12:52
oh hell yeah. Im making a custom set of armor with this :)

I would love an X-comified version of this, where the elder's symbol is replaced with golden X-COM logo's.
Cerebralcloud92 11. mar. 2022 kl. 15:42
Just curious, any reason why the Assassin's Headgear DOESN'T preserve hair choice, but the Warlock's Headgear does?
Mille 5. feb. 2022 kl. 4:49
This is SUPERB and I love using them.
I did encounter a unfortunate visual glitch in combination with another mod (surprise surprise)

The mod in question is: [WotC Customize Soldier Size] and upon trying to recreate the Assassin's canon height her headgear-tentacle thing does not allign with the rest of the hat (at normal scale it's no problem at all). Would it be possible to take a look at if you got the time and motivation to do so? I figured that mod would compliment this one in particular. Thank you for this wonderful addition as is.

Hi Zak, I just wanted to tell you that I've used your Warlock Crown models to create this mod: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2594735227
Thank you very much for your work, without it my mod wouldn't have been possible at all!
Lyssiar 10. juli 2021 kl. 6:05
very cool ! do you think you can make an other mod for make your soldier look like the chosen, that can complet the mod. <3
Brain_is_Back 8. feb. 2021 kl. 6:08
WOW. LOOKS NICE!
(멋져보임!)

As I was writing this comment I felt disappointed and frustrated that the mod title didn't say WOTC. That 'obviously' meant it was for vanilla Xcom 2. Great, I thought, another awesome mod with no WotC port.

However, just before I finished writing my comment asking about WotC compatibility, a metaphorical lightbulb lit up over my head. "Wait, Chosen Armor? .... oh".

Now I'm changing my comment to what you just read while feeling really silly and sheepish.
Lux Manifestus 2. dec. 2020 kl. 16:20
lol
BigMitchy 2. dec. 2020 kl. 2:12
now all we need is a mod for playable chosen classes
Lux Manifestus 17. okt. 2020 kl. 14:21
lol
Savar Belmont 17. okt. 2020 kl. 8:38
thats all this mod is for... if you don't want it for sc uninstall the mod?
Lux Manifestus 17. okt. 2020 kl. 1:36
How do we configure the .ini if we don't want them available for soldier customization?
TheDuke37 4. okt. 2020 kl. 14:23
Assassin helmet gets rid of hair so that's a bit annoying. Other then that its a decent mod
Savar Belmont 23. sep. 2020 kl. 20:50
he updated the mod. even said that might happen
❄ Želvominus Rex 23. sep. 2020 kl. 20:21
the arms and legs unequipped on all my characters that used the chosen armor in character pool
ПΛПО Dragoon 16. sep. 2020 kl. 15:25
Anyway to have the buzzcut hair work with the, assassin helmet?
cybersbe 16. sep. 2020 kl. 14:02
Once upon a time, I had a mod idea of the chosen having a more human look, with their appearance taken from the character pool. Looking at this mod reignites my wish that it'll some day become reality. (I myself have no modding skill, so I can't make it myself.)
Savar Belmont 11. sep. 2020 kl. 16:05
use kexx's drell mod. it looks pretty sweet.
Deathraven13 11. sep. 2020 kl. 13:25
I guess not, anyway it's a pretty good mod, well done.
Deathraven13 10. sep. 2020 kl. 18:31
Any Chosen face mod ?
Zak  [ophavsmand] 9. sep. 2020 kl. 22:16
Small update, removed bAnyArmor=true from all armor pieces in favor of explicitly setting the templates for all tiers, as this causes problems with the resistance armor etc. No content removed/added, but you might need to re-equip the armor on your characters. You won't care about this if you already used Unrestricted Customization. Let me know if this update causes any problems to you.
[Novash] 9. sep. 2020 kl. 14:25
@Soul D. Dragneel
Hehe you are probably right :steamlaughcry:
Savar Belmont 9. sep. 2020 kl. 12:57
@Novash oh i completely agree i just think it won't help much.
[Novash] 9. sep. 2020 kl. 11:58
@Soul D. Dragneel
Exactly, which is also why I wrote that it could be a good idea to add the IMPORTANT :steamhappy:
Savar Belmont 9. sep. 2020 kl. 11:51
@Novash that requires the average user to actually read descriptions... Most dont bother sadly since most issues could be avoided by simply reading the bleeding thing
[Novash] 9. sep. 2020 kl. 11:39
@Zak
Yea I actually think this was the best solution, there are so many different mods that adds empty decos and this way people can keep using the one they might already have installed :steamdance:

Maybe you could add a "bold" IMPORTANT next to that part of the description to help make sure people read it hehe :steamhappy:
Swords 9. sep. 2020 kl. 11:24
@Bigfoot: You eat poo.
Zak  [ophavsmand] 8. sep. 2020 kl. 22:12
@ El Wrobel - Not really, I wouldn't know how to balance a gameplay-changing mod, hehe. However I strongly encourage other modders to use the contents of this mod in functional chosen armor mods etc.

@ Bigfoot - Please read the description carefully.

@ Novash - I actually had the empty parts as a dependency, but seeing how one can use various other mods and/or Unrestricted Customization to achieve the same effect, I decided to remove the dependency (also hate the AML warnings when I have Unrestricted Customization active). Personally I'd prefer to only add "hard" dependencies (i.e. mods that are absolutely required for the main mod to function) to the workshop menu, but yeah that means dealing with the occasional angry user, hehe.
Savar Belmont 8. sep. 2020 kl. 7:54
@Bigfoot you really didn't look into a common problem with mods that add hero parts to normal soldiers and then call someone else's stuff half assed? no offense but empty deco slots is pretty much a required mod in general for wotc.
[Novash] 8. sep. 2020 kl. 3:17
@Bigfoot
Yes you can, you probably just need to install a mod that adds empty deco parts, like for example: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1127014384 (as mentioned in the description).

Would have been a good idea to have it as a dependency for the mod, but it is such a common thing to have installed so @Zak probably didn't think about it, but not a mistake big enough to start calling it "halfassed", if something doesn't work, ask, instead of just being rude :steamsalty:
Bigfoot 7. sep. 2020 kl. 23:54
top notch lol more like halfassed you cant even remove the thigh and shin armor once equipped
Abdulla Babulla 5. sep. 2020 kl. 3:09
Wow. This is top-notch work, thank you so much for making this!
xholic 4. sep. 2020 kl. 16:41
wow thank you... i also waiting for Horizon Zero Dawn mod
Savar Belmont 1. sep. 2020 kl. 8:46
@SimplyTheCat if you read the description more separation is incoming. Lets give him the time and have patience
A Cat 1. sep. 2020 kl. 8:39
Can you add a colorable version of Assassin's 4 phase's lower part of the mask?
It looks really awesome but I don't like how the helmet makes all my soldiers bald.
El Wrobel 31. aug. 2020 kl. 11:12
Any plans on making a functional version, as reward for defeating the Chosen?
Mirahael 31. aug. 2020 kl. 10:24
@Zak

Just curious, but would a potential addition of Warlock's gauntlets without the claws be an interesting edition enough to add?
Savar Belmont 30. aug. 2020 kl. 12:47
@Eko they are just cosmetic and all 4 tiers are available for all armors as far as i can see.
Eko 30. aug. 2020 kl. 4:20
these are available from the beginning of a campaign ?
Savar Belmont 29. aug. 2020 kl. 12:06
@Zak Thanks for this. For the longest time i used Dor's Advent Armor mod for the warlock armor and was heartbroken when it was discontinued. While I'd personally love all tiers to be tintable (the gold trim looks good on several other colors) I understand as to why you didn't. So I just wanted to give you an overall thank you for your hard work. It's really appreciated.
wolff_laarcen 28. aug. 2020 kl. 19:32
Whaaaaat! That Warlock armor on the PsyOp looks sick!
Nyx 28. aug. 2020 kl. 12:57
Imagine just pulling up in the Chosen chamber and all your soldiers are dressed exactly like the one they are fighting, thats just big memes right there
❄ Želvominus Rex 28. aug. 2020 kl. 10:02
would it be possible to have each phase tintable
K1ngPring1e 28. aug. 2020 kl. 9:39
Ive been waiting for this. Good job man this is great.
KhaosByDesign 28. aug. 2020 kl. 8:06
Loving this mod, been after Chosen gear for ages:

https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2212036464

Quick question though, is there a way to use the Assassin's phase 4 mask without adding the headpiece?
❄ Želvominus Rex 28. aug. 2020 kl. 4:25
can we get the heads too lol
R97R 27. aug. 2020 kl. 23:43
Been hoping to see a mod like this for a long time. Thank you for making it! It's one of the few things I think the game was still missing.
Sentinal 27. aug. 2020 kl. 23:15
@Zak - I have tried the left and right arm category but still didn't work so it might be the pop up I don't know. Thanks for the support. I will try that.
