@Iam26749

A simple search shows this, also the same applies if you look at their Workshop too.
(Not hard to do, and it ain't rocket science either)

Does this exist for railways

my roads are bad with requiring A LOT of land just to go over a road. it's annoying, and this is without any mods affecting slopes. mod sounds nice but the default value is already annoying. would get if the in-game slopes werent already absurd.

that sounds great, I'll give it a try. If I won't revisit the comment section it's probably because I am satisfied with the results ^^
Great work anyway :)

I suppose Ai is affected, too
D.aniel [chat off] 28 AGO 2021 a las 8:33
is the AI affected by this mod or will it build those dramatic slopes anyway?

Does this allow me to bank my roads?

Maybe upgrade all the surrounding streets

Thanks for the reply. Actually I was talking about rebuilds, the area around the embankments is still being flattened with a huge radius - and the mod isn't even installed anymore (but was when I started). :/
VacuumTube  [autor] 20 NOV 2020 a las 8:24
What has been built is built. New settings apply only for rebuild.

I have the same problem as altfuture, but unfortunately it the flattening of the terrain won't be back to normal after setting slopes and embarkment back to normal or even uninstall the mod. any ideas?

That road just had a seizure... wow... thanks for this i hate roads in this game at times, all roads leads to Rome they say, well... mine leads to 90-. angles :P

Thanks. I will not try the mod again soon, but maybe this helps someone else. I had this issue on any kind of terrain, from very flat to mountainous. The road embankment was extremely wide, like 100m or more. Even on a very flat terrain (almost 100% flat), a road of just 50m length would cost $8 million.

Have a look in the modsettings that I included:
If the embankment is too wide, set the slope back to 0.75 vanilla.
You can also switch "Embankment Slope High" off, maybe that solves some problems in steep areas.

The mod seems to have a bug, flattening huge amounts of terrain on the sides of the road unnecessarily (on a Megalomaniac sized world at least), costing a fortune. Found out that this mod was causing it thanks to this thread, and I was able to confirm it: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/app/1066780/discussions/0/5161644449909342254/

That said, thanks for the mod. I hope you'll manage to track this issue down and fix it.

Indeed
Stay on target, Porkins! 30 AGO 2020 a las 10:45
I'm assuming this won't a affect saved games and the roads already laid?
Floyd 24 AGO 2020 a las 18:45
your mods are making this game so much better. Thanks
MaxCheng95 24 AGO 2020 a las 0:27
Finally. You have no idea how much of a hassle it is to see towns just grow up a steep mountain with them crazy streets
VacuumTube  [autor] 24 AGO 2020 a las 0:09
I didn't try that, but it should
HexAyed 23 AGO 2020 a las 21:33
Awesome, Will this stop the AI also?
Lenza 23 AGO 2020 a las 9:35
Lovely Stuff! TY!
HSTg4min3 23 AGO 2020 a las 9:07
Although I love extremely stupid roads I'm definitely installing this
Remi Gio 23 AGO 2020 a las 8:41
