It's pretty tough to decide to try out a lot of these clans posted in the workshop that have only one image associated with them, that's such an odd choice =/

Emberboost doesn't work. You get the extra ember too soon, and by the time your turn starts it's gone again.

There's a couple of newer clan mods that will fix the softlocks in this mod if enabled. Equestrian clan, and I think Beyonder. Game startup takes significantly longer though. They fix the problems by essentially recompiling the database every time the game launches.

Managed to bug out the game using the Icarus bird. The boss hit the bird and killed it, teleported straight to the top before combat had finished, and froze all floors. Then he just stood there. I could scroll up, my screen was centred on the middle floor. You'd probably already know about this though.

Crown relic seems to be broken in last divinity dlc: my pyre has killed the enermies repeatedly and not gained gold once

I can't even get to the intro cinematic with this mod installed, just instant crash to desktop. Literally nothing else installed but Mod Loader and Trainworks.

I put endless / burnout 1 on the little dude who extinguishes and sends an enemy to the pyre with dazed 2 and it caused the game to hang :-(

Now that I think about it, the primary version of this clan has consume spells, and Wyrmkin has a lot of etch triggers that are hard to consistently support in the early game which is why beetle man is quite weak in the early game.
Along with a lot of other cards like that sweep tome and giving units quick, it would've been a super cool clan combo. Especially with all the Wyrmkin units who are just really really big.

Can't wait for this mod to be updated to the current build! I check in every now and then, such a fun clan and I really enjoyed the mechanics of it. Definitely recommend folks give it a try once it's been updated!

In general from what I've heard and seen, the mod just hasn't been updated for the last divinity DLC and thus doesn't work. It's kinda like trying to drive your new car using the key from your old car, it just won't go anywhere.
Really it's better to wait, especially since modding for this game is really small.

Agreed regarding difficulty. Part of the issue is that the new Merchant of Steel upgrades are pretty useless for most builds and clutter up the space. Heroes are also on the weaker side. Creatures and mechanics are pretty neat though. :steamhappy:

I really like this mod; but seems rather weak on high difficulties. I've played a lot of monster train and have yet to win with this race as my main on highest difficulty.

It seems there is a bug where flashfeather dying to an enemy that is also dying softlocks the game. For me it happened when a bomb from daedalus blew up and killed one. I say soft lock because you can still access the menu using esc or click any of the buttons or piles of cards. Really cool mod and mechanics though.

I tried this out today and froze on the first fight, I think it was because my flashfeather died to ascending and tried to apply 2 dazed to an enemy that was already dead

This clan has actually been a huge struggle to play with. It might be because I'm just not experienced with it. But so far with my experience, I feel like the randomness of effects make it very hard to use the champions and most of the other units effectively.

The ember gain keyword seems to trigger inconsistently. More often than not it randomly doesn't trigger at all or only triggers on one unit.

Just a heads up, apparently using this mod has a chance to delete your save file if you turn it off after using it.

Status Update artifact breaks the game. Cannot place units, it either doesn't allow me to even place a unit, or when it does, the process stalls after the unit leaves the hand, but before it's placed.
