Yeah i extracted the VPK files in the folder but nothing happened for some reason.

Extract the materials VPK files to your "steamapps/common/teamfortress/tf/custom" folder, and then pick what model it'll replace. The next time you launch TF2 it'll automatically replace the item yourself and everyone in the world that wears it, at least from your computers perspective.
