It's because the cover's shape is a bit weird, and it'd clip inside the hopper. You wouldn't be able to see it from first person, but to avoid it i just didn't move it further

Really great work, and I'm amazed it's even possible to get the hopper system to work in RF!

Just one very minor nitpick: the hopper cover moves down a total of 4 times when the first 4 clips are ejected, but when the 5th clip is ejected the cover stays in place and doesn't move further down towards the 6th clip.

and if you guys wanna make a REALLY authentic CHINESE mauser you should make a variant without the front sight bead because partisans usually removed it by hand to increase the speed of pulling out the gun and to prevent it from getting caught by the belt (just a suggenstion)

Oh probably, the Hanyang 88 was widely used in our Nanchang Revolution and in the later anti-Japanese war, however it was famous for its lack of smoothness in loading
