Oh, I did what Narkodes described. Was wondering what that pedestal button was for. Then, I watched bullfrog's solution.

@Narkodes That's not an easy move. In my book if you can do it, and it's not a physics game engine glitch, then do it. I look for ways to shortcut almost everything I play.

I solved it as intended, but first I came up with a different solution. You can stand behind the (deactivated) fizzler, have your portal behind the laser field, then put (while standing behind the fizzler) the cube onto the faith plate. The laserfield is then deactivated and the player can easilyjump into the floor portal and quickly switch shoot the funnel in mid air.

Thanks @Teo I think you may be right. I just changed the end move slightly but that made it difficult to kill the funnel. I will def take a good look. Cheers.

I enjoyed that! Personally, I would have preferred if the exit was just open from the start, as the end move would still work the same . Some creative stuff in here; thumbs up!

@bullfrog Thanks, this was always the intended solution but tunnel vision prevented me from seeing the obvious bypass I had created. BTW you can save a bit of walking by doing a portal swap btw the funnel panel and the flip panel.

@lapicidas Thank you. Yes, the button prevents placing the cube on the laser off pad and portal standing to skip what I think of as the main puzzle move of this chamber.

Interesting, clever map. Why do you also need the pedestal button to deactivate the laser field. Is it to prevent unintended moves? In any case, I enjoyed playing it.
