Tried to pull out the error log from the crash but for some reason the only logs i have are from crashes from before i downloaded this lol. So i guess i dont even have a log for this? Im going to do a full wipe and reinstall of Gmod and hopefully that fixes it for me. Not sure how everyone else is doing.

If you guys can send through any errors in the dev console before the crash - preferably as close to the anticipated crash as you can - that may be helpful, thanks! Unfortunately on my end I can't reproduce the issue.

Crashes as well sadly. Was super stoked to play this one. Even turned off all my mods and went in pure vanilla. But after opening cutscene it kicks me out of gmod entirely not even an error message. :/

Yeah, having the same issue as Ceaseless. The opening cutscene starts well, but after it fades to black, it crashes.

map keeps crashing during the opening sequence, when the scene cuts to black. I have all gameplay changing addons disabled and have also tried the russian version. I am running the 86-64 beta.

These errors keep coming up in the console:

Heh heh, glad to hear it works. Mods can be funny like that - sometimes they may change one little thing that you don't expect, to make the mod work.

Hmmm, that's a new one... have you tried disabling all addons and then restarting the map? Perhaps there's one that's interfering with their scripted events

You'll need to walk up to the two soldiers in front of the map to start an event. Once the event is over, the door you came in through will open up and you can continue down the corridor.

Custom dialogue has now been added to the description! Hopefully this will aid those who struggle to understand the lines, and also help for translation.

At the moment I am planning a third map, however I've had a number of other projects come up that have made me put the map on pause again.

P0shboy, try disabling any other addons you have enabled - it hasn't been tested without any non-mentioned mods, so they may interfere with the map.

There were some locations where the darkness was more atmospheric (the two storage rooms & the small outside jump in the train area) but for the rest of the map overall i had to rely on a flashlight. On second thought since you did say in the description it was designed for half life episode 1 or 2 its probably just a problem with Gmod. Im not a map maker so i wouldn't know, I'm about to find the time to play Anticitizen one and see how well that one goes.

Glad you liked it, and thanks for the feedback! Did you find the dark was atmospheric at all, or did it become more of a nuisance in the end to rely on your flashlight?

I played this with just the map downloaded and the Metrocop model pack.
All n all i think this is a pretty well made map thats rather fun and adds a harmless bit of more lore to half life. I really like this map and although it felt a bit short i only really have 2 complaints overall. The map is very dark and could've used better lighting, and there was one door on the whole map that didn't work and it was the one just after meeting the prison guard with the shotgun who follows you. I took out the physics gun and just pulled the door off so i could continue playing the map.

Again the map was fun although short and personally i loved it despite those 2 small compaints.

I'm not entirely sure which specific addon would do this, but it is recommended for the best gameplay, that you temporarily disable all addons to avoid conflicts

Hey Alexander,do you know any more Combine-based maps were u are a combine and fight rebels or antlions or zombies or really anything,I dont play Entropy:Zero because i like using the SWEP's of garry's mod and ARC9,If u know any more maps like yours please inform me,i really got bored fast seeing how every map is u fight combines instead of being one.

Thanks for the feedback! I can see where you're coming from with those examples.

Unfortunately it's hard to say what might make the antlion guard not show up. It's kind of a diva actually; most of the time it'll go on queue, but infrequently it's just stubborn. If it doesn't show up at all, then same with the citizens in Anticitizen One - it could be an addon, but as the map was tested without addons, I'm not sure what it could be.

For example, after falling down from elevator, after you crawl through the vent, and the place you come out and see bunch of antlions coming out from some kind of hole. I can only see bunch of containers and I couldn't find the way there. (I know where to go now)

Second most confusing part is the part when you increase the water level. I still can't find a way to escape there.

This is not related to map instructions but could you tell me what makes antlion guard not to show up when you get on the lift? I'm quite sure it is certain addon, but I'm not sure which makes it happen.

Similar thing happens for the first episode, all 3 citizens that i have to shoot just dies from nothing and the kill log shows that i have killed them.

I love this map, but the problem for this is that you don't get any instructions. I had to use noclip to see where I should go. It's way too confusing.

The goal was to indicate that the crash and quake had knocked the power out in the train section. By flooding the pipe with water, it completed a circuit from the sparking outlet at the bottom to the power above.
