@boombaclad i think it's mainly used to use corpses as a shield, but also to move annoying ragdoll out of the way. Another reason might be the ragdoll in the window before we enter the quarentine zone that for some reason get's stuck and doesnt want to move

This mod seemed to mess up Jeff's pathfinding. When I had it installed, he kept either getting stuck behind nothing or warping to the wrong part of the map, which softlocked me at the very end.

Put "vr_hold_ragdoll_large_biped_counter_spring_freq 1" in the launch options and it will work in story and custom maps

I can throw rag dolls. just don't move while you grab them and it works fine :o

@sgasghjojrla no, in base game the ragdolls always pin themselves to wherever you pick them up, this makes it so you cannot lift more than an arm or leg.

This is great as is, buuut is there any way to carry ragdolls while walking?

this doesnt work for me, i enabled in addons menu and started a new game with addons enabled but ragdolls are still pinned

Now I see why they were pinned to the ground in the first place. Because without it, Alyx becomes a superhuman with the strength of ten men. Too bad I don't care enough about realism. Now lemme throw the Combine shotgunner off the apartment balcony by his head with one hand!
