Does not cover equipped ammo as you can find that out by hovering on the weapon icon on the lower-right

So, not equipped ammo, right?

Thanks for looking into it! I'll relay it to the lwotc elders :)

After some searching I found out this item is re-purposed Plated Vest from base game. In base game it only gives an Armour Pip and HP Bonus, which makes it not required for this mod.
(In much the same way as other items that get skipped)

If I were to include the vest (for the purposes of LW changing it) then I would also need to include all the other items that also get skipped over for various reasons, so I would say this one is on LWotC to update the display as it adds changes that should be shown (crit defense)

Hey Rusty, is there any way you can include the Tactical Vest (from LWOTC)? Or something has to be done on the LWOTC side? Thanks!
You can look at the vest here https://www.ufopaedia.org/index.php?title=Equipment_(LWOTC)

Then there is a high chance you have some other mod removing them.
Unfortunately I have no idea what that could be.
zin 20. mar. 2023 kl. 14:19
Hm, I installed this one and got rid of the original, but I still don’t see them. :/
zin 20. mar. 2023 kl. 12:10
Thanks for the quick response! Is it safe to uninstall the original and install this during a campaign?
RustyDios  [ophavsmand] 20. mar. 2023 kl. 12:07
@zin
Either mod is fine, but obviously not both together. This mod (core collection edition) has slightly better/cleaner code and was remade from the ground up with help from Iridar. It does not do all the 'extra things' the original does (read the mod descriptions) . Personally I still use the original.

Both mods work fine alongside CBAC. If you are not seeing the extra passive icons for items in the lower left passives corner then it is possible another mod is interfering.

There was only one such mod that I knew of ( Armor & Vest Config ) but I long since thought I'd dealt with that particular issue.

I’m using this mod, which is similar: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1859762491

What is the difference? Also, the aforementioned mod does not work for me. I should note I use [WOTC] Cost-Based Ability Colors. Do you think that could be the conflict, and may this mod work instead? :)

ok just found this one, thanks

Massively appreciate the change logs, it can be very infurating if something ends up not working and the last change log is missing or just says something like "fixed stuff". Seeing specifics called out like added LW compatability saves a huge headache for us on guessing, ty!

Well, it's nice to know that the change notes get read ... thanks!
Also actually makes it worthwhile to spend the time to compose those messages ;)
EvilPolygons 18. dec. 2020 kl. 13:03
I read change notes compulsively. Like, I can't NOT read them.
dstaal 17. dec. 2020 kl. 16:31
Just thought I'd let you know that read the change notes regularly. ;)
DukeBurger 21. aug. 2020 kl. 9:33
Whoops silly me :D
RustyDios  [ophavsmand] 21. aug. 2020 kl. 9:29
It's not the abilities that are invasive.. it's the script of Armor and Vest Config that removes all the items previous abilities before adding it's own from the config file :)
DukeBurger 21. aug. 2020 kl. 9:10
Oh well ill have to go through my config and make sure those invasive abilities are removed . thank again
RustyDios  [ophavsmand] 21. aug. 2020 kl. 8:55
I didn't know it was that invasive either !
I mean it does state in the mods description if you are adding to mod vests you need to go and find the mod ability and add ability to the config, but it doesn't really mention that by itself the mod replaces the base game abilities with it's own versions, or that it removes any/all previous abilities the vest/armor had !
DukeBurger 21. aug. 2020 kl. 8:41
@RustyDios That worked Thanks for the quick response .

Didnt know Armor and vest config was invasive , its a shame because theres no other mod (that i know of) with that level of item customization .

RustyDios  [ophavsmand] 21. aug. 2020 kl. 8:17
Armor & vest config removes ALL abilities previously placed on the item. For the base game vests it replaces these with it's own versions. Try adding the following abilities to the configs for thier respective vests;
'StasisVestBonus'
'ScorchCircuits'
'HazmatVestBonus'

and I never noticed that mod does that, that's really invasive of any other mod that adds abilities to any armor or vest, and would seriously effect modded vests
RustyDios  [ophavsmand] 21. aug. 2020 kl. 8:04
Thanks for the report... will investigate
DukeBurger 21. aug. 2020 kl. 7:57
Hi rusty just wanted to report a very minor issue between passive icons and this mod https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1129753213&searchtext=armor+vest+

The passive icons this mod provides for vest items dont appear if the Armor and Vest config mod edits them . so for example i put Hazmat vest on my soldier he got the immunity buff but the icon didnt appear .

sorry if all that was weirdly worded ,but this doesnt bother me since ive edited a few of the vest to function differently but i thought i report it just in case someone else asks about icons not appearing.
$nowMan 6. aug. 2020 kl. 12:11
Ohhh sike! i thought i commented this on the jetpack mod lmao sorry <3
RustyDios  [ophavsmand] 4. aug. 2020 kl. 8:05
@$nowMan ... whilst I agree that does sound cool .... I see no relation to your comment and this mod. So why here?

In related news, check out Iridars Gremlin Scouting Protocol which achieves a cool similar effect to what you mention :)
$nowMan 4. aug. 2020 kl. 5:04
Probe droid (scout) mod would be cool, Equip them and send them to a part of the map that you want to see or if you don't like Star Wars. Then make it a different type of Gremlin. Just a cool idea that I thought would go really cool with the jetpack mod. Fly to a building then send a droid to the next building to make sure it's safe before flying/going too.
EvilPolygons 20. juli 2020 kl. 14:25
Okay, I'll wait then, just to be sure. Thanks again for your mods. :2018bestaward:
RustyDios  [ophavsmand] 20. juli 2020 kl. 14:11
It should be safe to switch, but just for safeties sake I personally would wait until a new campaign. But then I also do a full config file purge between campaigns too.
EvilPolygons 20. juli 2020 kl. 13:55
Thanks for this version. Is it safe to deactivate the original Passive Icons mod and switch to this one mid-campaign? Or should I finish up my current campaign before switching?
