i encountered it during a new survival game on mars. it ate 24 clips of my survival kit pistol (all the ammo i had on hand) and was still going strong an wrecking my everything. its hitbox for shooting it also doesn't match its model. a signiicant portion of my shots were lined up with its model but went straight through.

so... the minimum threat level for it to spawn with MMS should be raised, its hit box for shooting it fixed, and its durablility lowered so one actually has achance of putting one down with the survival kit pistol...

love the design, love the idea, but the implementation needs a bit of work

Most likely keen changed targeting details and it's targeting the model root instead of the head

singleplayer mars, dunno how but the turret shot the target below so hard it destroyed all machines so i thought martin somehow spawned below the grid to make that happen as it was a 2x2 grid of blocks

wouldnt recommend tbh... way too tanky and spawns too often. i decided to build a interior turret to counter it but the interior turret seemingly fired towards the ground (where it might have spawned?), and destroyed all my machines and i decided this creature is too annoying to handle

If combat mode is enabled the spawns will be suppressed. They only spawn on mars

Use command /MES.SC.GESAP to check the spawn groups and combat mode

Does it work on the server? We have been playing with friends for more than 20 hours and have not seen any such golem. Can MES disable the spawn of these golems? (We only use it to spawn ruins on Mars)

Yeah he was designed to be a bit heavy duty. Start with sandworms they've low health. I should update this to use MES then I can limit the spawn until your more adventurous

martin is a bit op. i did a pertam start and i had to turn him off because he kept ignoring me and wiping my entire starter base before i could kill him with the basic pistol.

changing load order fixed it. Sadly had enough of Martin after an hour. Too much HP for my taste

earth like animals do spawn but only very very rarely. My earth base is in a ravine.

I got the Stargate Ores (Main Stargate mod, the Thing with Supergate PSA in the name) and "organics" from the daily needs mod, nothing more. Thanks for looking into it :p2cube:

Shouldn't conflict with daily needs or earth like animals but will conflict with ore mods. I will take a look because I can remove the script that's controling the attacks

They don't spawn for me at all on mars. I have them on the bottom of mod load order with daily needs further up. Should I move it to load before all the food / farming stuff? I also got earthlike animals, do they conflict?

I suspect some conflict will occur when mixed with a bunch of other scripts. Once I can I will move this over to use AiEnabled

I'm seeing an issue with this and your Police Bots mod. When my world starts up, I find them spawning all over the solar system in random locations. Usually soaring through space or falling through atmospheres of planets. They also seem to be causing NPC grids to then spawn in nearby to them, in large numbers. It was dumping my simulation speed down below 0.2 and I was seeing massive CPU load that usually resulted in the world crashing. Removing all of the spawned entities and the mods immediately removed the issues. I don't have much loaded at this time. Some planets, modular encounters spawner, planet creature spawner, aienabled, and a few QOL tools. Do yours conflict with the MES/AI stuff?

What kind of conflict? I started a server with procedurally generated ores that changes ore densities and on what planets. But my server did start, never saw a conflict.
It wouldnt keep no ore from spawning at all? or anything like that. Because we still havent found any, but its supposed to be very rare now.

It will conflict with scarce resources and other mods that edit the planet generator file.

If I may have a moment of your time for 2 question?
1) while this mod be updated to use Lucas’s Planet Creature Spawner??
2) Me being a fan of Starcraft I wonder if a mod with man of zergling would be possible ( using the spider npc template for movement, attack and burrow)??
2b) or a massif ultralisk if even possible???

So, bug about this mod is sound wise, i can hear it from one planet to another. Friend of mine spawned on mars and encountered the martin hordes and somehow the sound from over there 20k+ distance reaches to the planet i currently resides

I don't care about publishing anything :)
However I'm open for helping modders to develop their mods, if I can.
I make this changes for myself but I don't mind anyone else to have fun too ;)

If you would like to publish merge with Deep Ores, it would probably be polite to ask author of this mod. As far as I can see, he is very open for that so it should not be a problem.
