@Spook Rooster It's odd, I use this thing religiously and it works fantastic. It needs to be towards the top of the mod order, but other than that, it works flawlessly.

The only time I've seen what you're describing happen is when you have another inventory mod like BAGMOD supersede this one in the mod order.

Mod's not busted, your mod order is the only thing busted here.

avoid this thing like the plague. it essentially deletes all weapons from the game, making them invisible and unusable, despite still existing in some form as items.

inb4 author claims i'm stupid like the previous comment and tells me to read the top line of the desc: this is with a fresh slate. no characters at all. pure new. your mod is busted.

@n3mes1s, The only patch done to the game since I created this mod was to support localization, which is very unlikely to cause any issues. That and the fact that many others are not having issues leads me to believe that you are having some sort of conflict with another mod.

I'm probably going to just start deleting comments related to the mod no longer working or deleting things. If you aren't smart enough to read the all-caps first line of the mod description, or to understand how to resolve mod conflicts in general, or to understand that this mod does not touch anything regarding the stash and therefore cannot possibly delete items in your stash, then you probably shouldn't even be attempting to load mods in the first place and you surely don't need to leave misleading comments on my mod page.

Tried it to see if I would have any conflicts....have not had any issues so far. Really liking it.

It might be a conflict on my end but it makes all my items invisible. Even character creation weapons.

Yup, this mod doesnt seem to be working properly anymore. Wish we could get an update.

Cosmetic slots is something all RPGs should have in my opinion. I want my character to look awesome without having to make compromises between appearance and stat boosts all the time.

dear developers, after making this wonderful mod, you fulfilled my old dream. Now my character always looks like I want it, no matter what he's wearing. Every time I launch a game, I mentally thank you for your work. Once again, thank you very much and good luck in everything.

I've been reading some of the comments here, I'm curious why weapon swap hotkey malfunctioned and why you had so much trouble working the slots, I might have to unpack this mod afferall to see it for myself. Thanks again for this brilliant idea!

I would like to announce that I made my own equipment slots mod, it will include visual only armor slots and armor swapping capabilities. I'm not sure how similar our modifications are but I think there's only one way to do a visual only equipment and I'll be using the term "Cosmetic Slots" inside my mod because there's no better way to differentiate them!

I'll credit your mod for the name and idea at my mod's page when it is released.

Hello! I'm just commenting to say that I've managed to make this mod compatible with TL2 Essentials/Pet and Fishing Overhaul. When I say that, I mean the pet equipment works as intended by the "Pet and Fishing Overhaul" mod (which is in TL2 Essentials, if you didn't know already). As it was, you couldn't see the extra slots added by these mods, but you could see rings and necklaces that are equipped automatically the first time you move a ring/necklace to the pet's inventory. If you moved this mod to be underneath the Essentials mod, however, it would break other things. So it was messed up either way.

I was wondering if anyone was interested in using this fix I've made and whether or not I have permission to upload it on the workshop (if people want me to). I haven't tested it thoroughly yet, but it works fine so far. It would be helpful to have other people playing with it to see if there's still something broken.

@MeVII try to rebind the swap weapons key in the options/ keymapping. I have the game set up to use another key for swaping weapons and it works just fine for me.

As @Шѳlѵєи also pointed out, I am also experiencing the issue where the active skills do not swap / switch along with weapons when using the weapon swap hotkey. However, the skills do swap when using the button inside the character inventory.
Ive isolated the error to this mod, (only mod active).
Its too bad, as I really like the cosmetic slots, but this error makes the mod unusable for me.

This mod is really cool. I was hoping that they would add this to the actual game. Would make it so much cooler!

obviosly, you should wear off all current gear before enabling/disabling this mod

im not criticizing the mod all im saying is it took the weapons off 3 of my characters one of which ive put at least 100 hours on i got a new better weapon so im ok with that, along with their weapons their necklaces rings and belt all disappeared as well i checked my inventory and my stash on all 3 and they were all empty. I also tried starting a new character which as you can guess had no weapons but started with two swords in my inventory but no gold, when i equipped said swords they were not visible i tried messing with the item visibility to see if it was my laptop but it did nothing. When i tried playing without the mod on but my gear was still gone :(

Hey I know I'm super late to the party and me and my friends are probably the only ones playing torchlight at this point, but is it possible for you to look into the multiplayer aspect of the mod? Maybe I'm doing something wrong because we can't see each others armors. Any advice? If not that's alright! I still wanted to stop by and say how much we enjoy the mod!

Breck is there any way to run this mod with Synergies Mod and Essentials cuz i love this mod but i can't risk loosing more pets slots maybe merge idk lol but untill it works with then i keep it on hold sorry bud it's a fricking awesome mod so i will follow it.

I Love the Mod, but it is a little flakey with Synergies Mod And TL2 Essentials, needs to load before it to work and if you do it breaks the UI for Pets not allowing you to modify the necklace and rings that essentials allows. It seems to keep them equiped and if you load it after essentials you can still equip them, but then you loose the uquipment UI for the character, but you can switch the load order back and it seems fine. Just wish the Mod didn't effect the Pet Equipment as well as the Character, but oh well.

It doesn't allow me to download this mod, I subscribe, it begins a download in steam, finishes with 0/0kb's and doesn't download, tried opening TL2 and it said download timed out, and that the mod was missing.

I installed your mod, and when i started it up and made a new game, my guy wasn't holding a staff. and when i got in game i found the staff in my iventory, but i *couldn't equipt it. I could put it in the weapon slots, but my guy wouldn't hold the weapon, he was just useing his fists regardless of what slot i put the staff in. whats up with that?

Alright it seems to work with Essentials if its placed above it in the load order. But... how is the multiplayer with this mod? I see it wasn't working in multiplayer for a while, ever fixed?

Unleash the Rainbow standalone mod was making this mod not function at all for me... But I switched to Alternate Outfits mod and It worked properly.

i dont use any other mods, but if i want to play it with this, the loading screen appears, and then crashes the game. Can some1 help? checking the game-files didn't make any change... (sry for bad english )

I was just going to suggest I lite version without the backpack upgrade but I see Brolumbus did so in a rather rude/spamming fashion. As it stands now, I haven't used the mod because of the backpack upgrade but I woud like to use a lite version. Too bad you can't do cosmetic weapons, though. I will keep checking the mod.

Awesome!!! It works finally with Synergie mods but in a Lan or internet play, we can't see each other skin, just the default skin.

I have issue with LAN party. I can see cosmetic equip on my PC but my friends in party can see only default skin. I use this mod with synergiesMOD and i put this mod above all mod

mod is compatible with synergies i think. just set cosmetic slots above syngeries on the mod order list.
