I had the same problem Covalence, I had to get rid of it since it did bother me how it took up much room for half capacity, I had to switch to a different garage I downloaded.

I noticed in my newer cities that it only fills up halfway, but I opened it up in the asset editor and it's at the 64 prop limit (with markers on only half the parking spots) so the only way to fix it is to make more subbuildings.

@vulpsune who knows?? this has a couple of different sub-buildings. and when making an asset, the last thing you worry about is adding up the tri count for every building. But rest assured, that it is an appropriate amount for Cities Skylines and low-poly models for CS is all that i know how to do

@todder, any asset with real parking spaces uses TMPE Realistic Parking. As for capacity the simulation is not that accurate. I've seen 3 cars parked in the same space before. Capacity only matters for vehicles.

@mattcat83 so you want me to do extra work in addition to what I've already done to save you and other people time huh? Standard parking garage is 3 years old. I simply don't play the game that way, and I don't pay attention to those stats most of the time, so no point of even going through the hassle of including them.

For an example of what I'm talking about, see "Standard Parking Garage" in the Workshop for Cities Skylines. It has a listing of most of the object's stats.

@jallan, yes, I was curious about the standard complement of information that some modders provide in the description for ploppables or assets, such as the cost, upkeep, resolution size, etc. Of course, I could download and see for myself, but it would save me and others the inconvenience were the uploader to do this himself. That way, it could be described once for everyone.

@jallan thanks, and yeah I understand. I rarely even check those numbers though. I haven't even played the game in a while, and I haven't played the game for the simulation since 2017

@KingLeno, I presume @mattcat83 is wondering about construction cost, upkeep, etc. I also wonder about those things, but have decided that if I like the look and utility of something I'll just download it and then check it before I build - if it's too much, I don't build! It's not like downloading costs anything.

@mattcat83 the stats of what? I don't keep up with the in-game stats. Texture sizes are normal 1k, triangles i don't know exact numbers but it's nothing out of the ordinary. Too much goes into asset making and uploading it to worry about checking off every single box.

@queen_gj there is a way to solve, tha you can do on your own... use e.g. neinnews invisible one lane roads and invisible ped paths... It's a lot of work... i did this for all garages i use in game and saved it with move it so i can place them whenever needed with the roads inside...

@skignovilous thanks. assets shared for early access on patreon will "never" be on the workshop. That is to say, the assets shared locally will always become different assets once uploaded to the workshop. So you couldn't make a city that contains a local asset, then subscribe to it on the workshop later and have it updated or replaced in-game. That is why I couldn't share one of my cities because I place all of my assets before they are uploaded.

HI @Kingleno, thanks for one more amazing asset. I love your work andI think its not wild to say that you are one of the cornerstones of the Cities Skylines community. I've been wondering about the Early Access patreon assets: Will they eventually be available in the workshop or are they patreon Exclusive?

I'm asking this because if me (for example) create a city and want to share the save game, that building will be missing in the city for other players that don't have the patreon.

@queen_gj How else to you expect the cars to get there? They aren't just going to magically appear from the cims pockets.....

But seriously, Parking garages (elevated parking) are not part of the game's mechanics. They gotta get there someway, and they aren't going to travel back and forth on all those ramps

Great asset!
But there seems to be a bit of a flaw in this class of multilevel Parking Garage.When vehicles are parked above the second floor, they fly directly into the building from the road.I don't know if there is a way to solve this problem.Maybe that's the problem with the game itself.After all, in the game, all the cars will ignore everything while they are parked.
