Don't worry, your English is fine.

Encampments count as tile improvements so they aren't technically part of the map, they are part of the scenario. Units are part of the scenario instead of the map too. Try opening your map as a scenario and they should appear.

Can you help me? I create a map, put the barbarians and barbarian camps. But when i start the game, created barbarians and camps doesn't appear on the map. Sorry for my english and thanks for the answer!)

we copied the map file from the mods folder to the the maps folder in civs map folder thanks

Mods in multiplayer are generally quite buggy and I still haven't found a workaround without using a 3rd party site to host. The best thing I can suggest is everyone who is playing copy pasting the map file from the mods folder to the maps folder and trying from there. If that still isn't working try a 3rd part host.

Not sure what I can suggest here. I managed to get this working by copying the file into my maps folder, but I still can't use it in multiplayer.

I have a problem loading this map and maps with numbers at the front of their name in general. I can load them in the mod selector but not in the map selection when setting up a game, anyone know why? I got lots of other maps that do work though.

Have you tried copying the map file into the civ v files? That usually fixes it. Read some of my previous comments to see what I mean.

There isn't currently any alternate sizes of this map, but if enough people want it I will make some different sizes.

When you have subscribed, open up Civ (or relaunch it if it was already open) and press 'mods'. Then accept the message and tick the mod that says '2v2 Hexagonal Ocean'. Then, go back to the main menu and set up a singleplayer game, but change the map type to '2v2 Hexagonal ocean.

almost anything designed for vanilla works in DLC, especially if it's maps. There's no reason it wouldn't work, because features aren't removed if you have the DLC installed

Sorry, but I've never owned any of the DLC (except Mongolia), and don't know much about them. I am just unsure if the map file would work or not. If you install it and run it in a DLC, and it works, could you please tell me so that I can edit what it says in the description.

I am considering making another version of this map set in the future era, where the Civs already have huge (but balanced) empires and armies. It would only allow domination victory as the other victory types just wouldn't fit the situation. Who would be interested in this?

To be honest, I never even thought about the Hunger Games when I was making it. I came up with the idea of 2 large areas separated by a huge ocean and made that, but the middle area looked very boring so i decided to add a few small islands there to make it less open. I can see why people are thinking that it looks like the arena from the second Hunger Games book though.
