Jacket in Payday 2 is canon, its Jacket's son from a former gf, and the commisar had jacket killed in prison during PD2s version of the story, no nukes, just a dead Jacket and a vengful son.

Jacket died in the nuking of America by Russia (or Soviet Russia, I think) somewhere in the 1990's, while he was in prison, so Payday 2 is not canon.However, Biker might have survived

Well let's just say this. We'll have to believe this Jacket isn't the real Jacket. It's just a wannabe or the next one. Or perhaps the Hotline Miami series never realy happened in 1980s. It was all just a dream... Who knows.

Yeah Jacket isn't canon in Payday 2 they just included him in the dlc because you can't add hotline miami without the main person who was in the first game along with the masks and guns

I find it hard to believe Jacket's appearance in PAYDAY 2 is canon.
The sucessions of Hotline Miami occurred in 1988-89 whereas PAYDAY seems to be in a more modern time period. So, if it is canon, Jacket must be somewhere in his 50s or 60s. Even though Jacket has the face of a crack addict in PAYDAY, he doesn't look as old as Rust.

With all of that off to the side, I still like to believe PAYDAY 2 is canon, just because I like the idea of Jacket using a tape recorder. It adds to the character a pretty neat, and unique feature.

@Bucket He talks using the voicebox in Payday 2. So he does use something to talk. And nothing says him being in Payday 2 isn't canon.
