Building tiles over drywall makes them inactive somehow. Test by deconstructing a tile (basic or insulated or whichever) while drywall is build under it. It will lose gases to space exposure even though drywall is there. Rebuilding drywall fixes it but still bothersome

Oooh, this is excellent. It's always annoying to need to deconstruct drywall if I need to replace it with an insulated tile, losing whatever gases were in the area.

@Winter Unfortunately i seem to be unable to get any mod working with the dlc. If it someday works for me i will. This mod is pretty much 2 lines of code so it shouldnt be hard once i get mods working.

There is a mod called "No Leaky Walls", however it has been reported there is a bug with deconstruction exposing a room to space. Besides, I like your mod because it just works.

Take your time, as I have been living with it tempshifts as is, but just consider it when you you get some time.

@crashfly it would definitely be possible to do something similar with tempshift plates. Im currently very bussy but let me know if no other such mods exists and ill try and make one in about a week.

Would be possible to tweak tempshift plates to act like drywall in this mod when placing?
Drywall is great for keeping a room sealed, but it is impossible to keep the room sealed when using tempshift plates as they cannot be built on top of.
