Not totally sure if it's a question you're asking, but I think I understand if you do.

The game uses a stop or go type of signalling. Easily explained: Path behing signal free? Then go, otherwise stop.

I used the Go option to create all available aspects, so these signal packs require some creative placement of the signals. (in the base pack is a readme/manual in wich I tried to explain everything as clear as possible.

I wish the game would use a more interesting signalling system then this. As far as I know, it isn't able to mod around this because of the way the game files are written.

I hear that there is no count of the sections clear for an amber indicator so warning can't work.

Currently I'm working on a set that combines all of the seperate signal sets that have been released so far.

This gives me the opportunity to go over every file again to check for little erors, and sadly I have found more then I was hoping for. Also, some changes on the base level are coming, just to make the set more user friendly!

Some bigger issues that are currently known, like the weird lights on the gantry signals will also be adressed.

When the time comes to release the combination set, the updates will also be transferred to the individual packs. These wil remain on the workshop, for not screwing up your saves (and be picky of what signals you actually want :P)

No, the number that's displayed is a speedrestriction. The dutch signalling system doesn't use a platform number indicator

Yes can it work out the platform number for the next station on the line the train is on?

I am currently in the middle in updating the lightning on the signals. Expansion 1 is taking more time than I was hoping on, mesh change for the lights, texture change AND animation change. Because this set is really huge it takes some time. What you're experiencing is the new mesh using the old texure. I was hoping to already have released this update, but yeah, then it got waaaaay to hot for even working on it

Having a bit of a light bulb problem: The light from the signal seem to light around the signal fram, rather than within it. Anyone else experienced this, or have a solution?

The portals for those signals are available as trackside object. These can be found under:
Landscaping (mountain icon) - Materials Tab - NS55 Seinen Icon .

Here you'll find all available portals (1 track isn't included yet)

Absolutely love it. But where can i find the poles and bars to hang som of the signals on? Now they just han mid-air. I've downloaded all the parts. Am I missing something here?

I know this might be an unrealistic request but could you make a version that's the Flashing Numbers only? I really like using the numbers to indicate the length of trains

Zeker voor realisme fans zoals ik, die een compleet ingericht baanvak wil, zijn deze mods en andere NL mods zeer welkom :)
PS kan niet wachten op de borden, :). Nu heb ik die Duitse borden maar daar zijn er maar een paar van die je kan gebruiken als Nederlandse borden. Die Nederlandse borden zijn daarom inderdaad erg mooi om naar uit te kijken :).
