the sidewalks are hillariously oversized but it works, I'm guessing it is because the template is a 4sqr 6lane avenue

I think a 3sqr wide one would be perfect

it would be great if the sidewalk was narrower just as @Clunk said. there is just too much space on the sides and even if i plop the building manually closer to the road, pedestrians still walk on the outer side - through buildings.

I tried some of these roads, including this one, and found them to be too wide for what I'd hoped. Massive kerb-sides taking up too much space. They appear to be normal roads but with avenue width. The small and rural roads are great, but these roads just don't fit.

Your roads look awesome, but everytime I use modded roads, my street names look like chicken scratch, ( the road names change to weird looking characters) so I'm gonna give your roads a try and HOPEFULLY when plopping your roads, the names on the roads will not look like weird characters/chicken scratch. Crossing my fingers.
