@moss, Sense Of Depth For Tall Buildings might be causing it. If it is, fiddle with the mod settings for the affected furniture to fix.
creeperlization 25 aug @ 8:13
also capable of removing debuff from toxic meat from Vanilla animals expanded - waste land:steamhappy:

the stew pot is clipping with the stew's pot
Meelonius 14 jul @ 6:55
About the stews vs soups...it seems it is at least the bug in descriptions. As well both seems to have same nutrition? But anyway soups 2 days, stews 3 days, not the other way around as described.
Proxy 12 jun @ 6:49
Can there be broths?
氟氯溴碘砹 2 mar @ 3:23
As what I found in the pot's description: 'Stew is slightly less nutrition-efficient than Soup, but requires only 2 days of cook time as opposed to Soup's 3.'
But it is opposite in the actual game, which means stew requires 3 days and soup only 2.
Is it a bug or only the description is wrong?

@No Mic Tweetus
Why would there be gourmet version?
Think about it
Gourmet meals provide bonuses based on condiment used
Stews don't have ingredients (thus allowing usage of questionable ingredients)
Seriosly, what's the point of gourmet version then?
What's the benefit over lavish version?
Less nutrition in exchange of couple extra mood points?
Frankly pointless if you ask me.
Just have a gourmet soup instead.

Sorry, this bug is inside the sushi expanded, I sent it in the wrong place,
I installed the mod ‘realdining’, and it use the mood value to determine the priority
Sarg Bjornson  [skapare] 1 jan @ 23:10
Pawns don't choose meals depending on their mood effects. They don't know what wasabi does until they eat it
1300532801 1 jan @ 22:13
Bro, the mood provided by Wasabi in your mod is minus one, which makes the pawn never choose food which adds wasabi of the same quality, please modify it.
No Mic Tweetus 11 dec, 2024 @ 19:54
So why isn't there a gourmet stew? I'm curious.
Sarg Bjornson  [skapare] 25 nov, 2024 @ 23:27
Hauling
BookOfMike 25 nov, 2024 @ 18:36
what job does refilling/unloading the stew pot fall under? cooking? hauling?
Dust 24 nov, 2024 @ 23:07
Does this work to remove the penalty from Anomaly twisted meat?
AriaTheSkyDragon 24 okt, 2024 @ 21:56
Hi, could we make it so the pot only consumes fuel when it is Cooking? Currently it is always burning wood even when not in use. I know we can just select toggle automatic refuel but I think everyone tends to forget this. Especially if we only planning on make one batch. Might be distracted while out running caravans or other things. Thanks.
CTH2004 20 sep, 2024 @ 9:29
that was my guess (:
Sarg Bjornson  [skapare] 20 sep, 2024 @ 7:08
The only reason this mod exists was to provide a low tech soups alternative, and we didn't want gourmet meals for low tech alternatives
CTH2004 20 sep, 2024 @ 7:03
wait, just realized, there's no gourmet stew?
is there a reason? (I can kinda see a possible reason, but just wondering)

also, noticed something, and it’s a reason to not add an electric stew pot! Basically, stews and soups have their pro’s and con’s. Stews (other than the lack of gourmet stews) are more ingredient efficient (from what I can tell), and remove negative ingredient thoughts. however they take longer.

Now, the interesting thing. If the main difference was time, then there would be no reason to not mass produce stews instead of soups. But, with the requirement of wood, now you have to deal with “how do I get wood? How can I make sure my colonists still have free time”. Normally wood is just a fuel early-game, and maybe somewhat later (if you use chemfuel). Now, even in the very late game you have that! And in a desert, how do you mass-grow wood? Maybe climate control? But how?...
Sarg Bjornson  [skapare] 15 sep, 2024 @ 23:05
So, remove the only thing that makes stews (or soups) unique?
Mask of Humble 15 sep, 2024 @ 19:07
I love this mod but it is so hard to manage, I'd love a oven instead, one where you can set a limit on how many meals are made.
Sarg Bjornson  [skapare] 21 maj, 2024 @ 5:42
Sorry, we can't
Farya 21 maj, 2024 @ 5:35
Could you possibly make electric and fueled pots interchangeable as long as both technologies are researched? And maybe also add a fueled variant that runs on chemfuel or gas
Sarg Bjornson  [skapare] 10 maj, 2024 @ 0:52
So, making soup just a meal, thus invalidating the only reason they exist.... I think we'll pass lol
Whiskers of Sheogorath 9 maj, 2024 @ 20:57
Why does soup needs to be made on electric surface? Can't it be made by the oven?
Starfoth The Burgundy Silk Rug 2 maj, 2024 @ 7:26
“Soup is electric stew”
Put that on a poster and sell it
Unironically
Ribera 2 maj, 2024 @ 0:27
Shame
Sarg Bjornson  [skapare] 1 maj, 2024 @ 23:41
No, never
Ribera 1 maj, 2024 @ 22:07
It will be updated for fine and lavish, carnivore and vegetarian variations ?
Sarg Bjornson  [skapare] 25 apr, 2024 @ 1:00
Soup IS electric stew
Ts_L 25 apr, 2024 @ 0:47
I love your mod oskar, Can you add Gourmet stew for the mod like other cooking recipe? Also a electric stew pot is very important(like electric pot for cooking soup) for desert scenario because wood is quit few !
Oskar Potocki  [skapare] 23 apr, 2024 @ 0:47
Can someone explain this man how raw meat spoils faster than cooked?
Hemlock 22 apr, 2024 @ 22:57
>Stew spoils in 4 days
>Cook puts it on stove then goes to get wood for it
>Stew is rapidly spoiling due to lack of fuel
>Stew rots on the stove in the mere minutes it takes for him to get wood

Mkay, yeah, seems legit
Sarg Bjornson  [skapare] 5 apr, 2024 @ 13:39
Nah
Caar 5 apr, 2024 @ 13:38
Should change this mod so we don't need a stove to make a stew. I mean, what's the point if you're still going to need to make a full stove anyways. May as well just make a meal after all.
Sarg Bjornson  [skapare] 21 feb, 2024 @ 7:33
You have another mod that is modifying the XML bases of meals, which is a HUGE no no in modding. You'd have to discover which mod is messing things up
Moonreefe 21 feb, 2024 @ 7:12
My game does not count stew as having any food value, so no one eats it and it counts for 0 food on trips. Any idea why?
Art Student 5 feb, 2024 @ 5:23
Research > bill will appear on either campfire, fueled stove, or electric stove to make uncooked stew > build the stew pot and put it there
[RM] Thunderhunt 5 feb, 2024 @ 4:57
I dont get how to make stew. can someone explain it?
Art Student 3 feb, 2024 @ 7:37
@GwynnTheGreen if you want automated soup/stew cooking try using mod called complex job there is option for "production", putting food into the cooker and taking it out when ready is production job
Type Writer 31 jan, 2024 @ 22:20
@GwynnTheGreen I believe the reason it's not being prioritized is that moving stew in and out of the stew pot is, if you have the Processor Framework mod as well, classified as a "Hauling" job. Specifically "Pick up result from processor" and "bring ingredient to processor." I was just wondering the same thing. Try re-prioritizing Hauling to see if that helps.
Starfoth The Burgundy Silk Rug 13 jan, 2024 @ 19:12
Is there a way to disable the "stew is ready for pickup" alert that pops up?
Sarg Bjornson  [skapare] 21 nov, 2023 @ 23:15
No, that's the only reason this mod exists: low tech soups. They have advantages over soups, but their main drawback is that they don't have gourmet options.
Shifty Fish 21 nov, 2023 @ 20:43
Maaannnn ya killin' me lol. Can't even throw a little salt in my stew?
Sarg Bjornson  [skapare] 16 nov, 2023 @ 23:24
No, that's intended
Shifty Fish 16 nov, 2023 @ 17:27
Could we get a 'Gourmet' Stew option since we have that for all the other types of cooking things? Can't cook gourmet soups in a Medieval run with no electricity so gourmet Stews would be nice, lol.
Sarg Bjornson  [skapare] 13 aug, 2023 @ 0:34
Oh! No, that's intended
Geisterhaft 2 aug, 2023 @ 8:10
I think he meant it [spoiled in 1-2 hours once the fuel in the pot runs out]
Sarg Bjornson  [skapare] 26 jul, 2023 @ 12:02
They rot in 4 days
Makrangoncias 26 jul, 2023 @ 11:50
Would it be possible to add settings for stew "going bad" timer? It's ridiculously low, it takes like 1-2 hours, if I don't have a pawn and a pile of wood in the very nearby area it's impossible to get there in time to prevent spoiling...
HRG164hjo 22 maj, 2023 @ 23:48
emm, I wonder why there are no gourmet stews
