hey maybe add a way to increase his lethality, because I have never seen the Great Khan ever conquer more than a chunk of the galaxy and no one ever submits to him.

Update: Unfortunately the college semester has resumed, and I will no longer have the time or willpower to work on this mod. Apologies that I was not able to finish the Alphamod compatablity patch or to fix these bugs. Thank you for giving this mod a try! If anyone wants to take over and work on this that is fine with me. I will also come back next Summer. Thanks again!

Too true. The Khan is just a sitting duck. He gets wiped off the map as you described and I even don't touch him. The AI kills him in more or less no time.

This sounds like a fun mod, it's just too bad that the Khan doesn't do anything when he spawns. Maybe it's just the settings I play on, but he doesn't do much other than die like two years after spawning.

hmm my great khan doenst do much stll in multiplayer, he expansded fast to serrounding empty space then doenst do much. while power is enough to wage wars

TY for looking into it. Strange thing is that it all works fine as long as I use the "trigger command" (1 year after midgame start) at the beginnig of a new game.
Without looking into your code I have an idea what might cause the problem. My "midgame start" is not at default. I always alter it. Maybe this causes the problem and not AM. Can it be the case that your internal "default" is not updated at game start? Just an idea.

Another update, I have been unable to replicate any of these issues on my end, which leads to believe that they are caused by mod conflicts. I don't really know how to deal with those, but I will attempt to make this mod compatible with AlphaMod, since that seems to be the most common issue. Thank you again for reporting these problems!

Quick update, I was unable to replicate the war goals not existing, so I believe that this is most likely caused by a mod conflict, and I don't really know how to deal with that unfortunately.

I can't declare war as fanatic purifiers due to no war goals existing and I don't see any other wars in the galaxy. This may be related to your modification.

First off all thnaks for your work. Really adss somethimg to the game. I have a similar problem as MidnightCoffee and I'm running AM as well. The Khan does not spawn until I force him to do so by menue. AM is located above your mod in the load order. There is no other way to load it because I'm running UI-O as well and AM needs to be loaded prior to UI-O to enable the biger planet view of UI-O.
Maybe that helps you to see what goes wrong.

BTW. The Khan is as little weak. The AI Empires killed him around 10 mins after he has spawned. Happened the last 3 games. Playing at Admiral level with highest aggro settings.

If it helps at all, im mostly running AlphaMod and its sub-mods plus the suggest ones within the discussions. I dont believe any of them conflict but it may help you narrow it down to just being a mod issue, or something within my load order. I didn't really know where to put this mod in that rip

Can you make a list of compatibility or a discussion of the files you edited? I have the Great Khan spawning within the first decade on some playthroughs, seems to be random.

@jowe01 The Great Khan awakens normally, and expands normally. You just have a few new options for dealing with them. You can become a machinesmith if you have shields 4, armor 4 and kinetics 4 through the same method you become a satrapy, just click on the option that says "we seek an alternate arrangement." instead of the surrender option. In this case the khan will not establish a base in your systems, nor will you pay any form of tribute. However, the khans new ships will all have tier 4 tech. For fabricator, you must have an alloy income over 100 monthly, and you will pay 10% of your alloy income in tribute. Additionally, your capital world will produce a new fleet for the Great Khan periodically. The Great Khan will also not place a base in your home system. If the Great Khan does manage to conquer the galaxy before croaking, they will receive and extra 50 years of lifespan.

Could somebody elaborate a bit more on whjat exactly the mod does? Transform territories conquered by the Khan into vassals that pay tribute in technology or alloys? Anything else? Additional "unfair" advantages to the Khan?

This is a very interesting idea, I like it. It gives more roleplay oppertunity, especially if the aftermath involves Country X not liking Country A because A sided with the Khan who lost and X sided with Independance, or something like that.

Or maybe, even more hardcore, just like how you get the choice to be the robot uprising in some cases, you could leave your empire, take over the "empire" of the Khan and have your original empire as a satrapie under your rule now.
I mean, with the new federations system, this should be kinda doable right?
