Have you talked to Vex? Have you tried moving the mod to the bottom of your load order?
You can probably delete them with console commands. Or use them as decoration.
When the stones are quest items they do not contribute to your weight limit (despite the value you see in the menu). Installing this mod makes them droppable but also gives them weight they didn't previously have.

Is there any way to fix this? Or is there a limitation to the number of active markers?
With this mod, however, they ACTUALLY WILL have 0.5 weight each.
