For anyone looking for a similar mod in 1.6 there still is Life Lessons.
It definitely is harder to grasp and looks less refined than Human Resources but still brings quite a punch.
LL has a few features missing and has some that HR doesn't.

I just came back to Rimworld with the new DLC, and I can't wait to tackle it with this mod on. All the new tech and stuff to make is gonna make it a very hard run, and I'm all for it.

@Lumine: Not sure if I even understand it correctly... Are you talking about a pawn's Tech screen? If you're viewing assignments, it will be empty unless you've already assigned the pawn to research something. And this is done on the main research screen, not on the pawn's. So, I'm not here to complain, but simply to share some information: I had an empty and buggy "Assignment" tab in the Research section (it was impossible to start any research), and after disabling a bunch of mods, I found that deactivating this one fixed the issue.
I'm posting this in case someone runs into the same problem one day — it might save you some troubleshooting time.

I realize that it's probably a conflict between two mods, but since the others seem important to me, I'd rather just remove this one.

I've just updated a fix for the errors coming out of using Mlie's Research Tree . Turns out he had made some changes on the last couple months which clashed with our code. I took this opportunity to make some improvements (see Change Notes for details). Thanks to @R27 and @Xyllisa who first spotted this, but mainly Tirror, T1763 & EnderMelody who TOOK THE TIME TO ACTUALLY REPORT THE ISSUE ON GITHUB [github.com]. Complaining in the comments is totally useless, folks! Always check if the modder gave you any instructions on how to report an issue. In our case, all you need to know is right there in the pinned discussion!
Oh, and before you ask about RW 1.6... I can't do anything before HugsLib is updated, since this mod relies on that one. Even then, I can't promise anything.

So the mod itself is great! Creative and amaizng, challenging. But it's not usable because the research tree on which it depends from fluffy simply does not work. It just shows a bunch of lines and that's it.

Please mod author maybe change the dependency or talk to the necromancer mile for better compatibility or something.

Anyone can decompile anything nowadays, so nothing is truly closed source. We encourage people to build upon said mod, they just can't take the code for themselves.

yeah the research tree is buggy as hell. maybe adapt it mod author or do something because it doesnt really work. i like human resoruces a lot but the dependency doesnt work well.

This doesn't seem to function with the latest version of research tree, trying just this mod and research tree continued leads to no techs appearing on the tech tree and red errors galore.

Love the concept of the mod, having issues though with the pawns not being able to equip weapons as they are scared, and have no idea how to use it. How do I fix this?

Not sure if I'm missing something, but I think there may be some incompatibility with research reinvented (the tech tab didn't appear) and research reinvented steppign stones ( the study desk was in the "crafting facilities" research. But since I had started with no research, I had no way of building the study desk to document and unlcok the research).
May yoou please confirm or correct?

I have the same problem,I also don't get any errors in the log. Its not possible to prioritize documenting for a researcher. And when a tech was studied, it remains assigned for studying, blocking other studying tasks until it is manually removed from the assignments.

I can't get pawns to document a newly researched tech, they just endless study even after they have fully researched the tech

Pawns can't sow onion.

Mods: [JPT] Human Resources + Seeds Please (Lite) + Medieval Overhaul (1.5).
To replicate: dev quicktest, research and study (HR feature) basic agriculture, spawn onion seeds, try to sow onion seeds in the growing zone.

Another compatibility report: World Tech Level (https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3414187030) . Pawns known techs do not follow the level set by that mod.

Hey JPT! Thank you for the updates! Really glad you're back :)

Currently it seems that the updated Research Tree by Mlie (https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3030499331) doesn't play well with Human Resources. With only Core+DLC+HR+ResearchTree(+hugs+harmony) gives an error when trying to choose a pawn in the research tab (upper right corner).

Hi folks. I'm testing an updated version that I just released on GitHub [github.com]. It still requires a version of Research Tree (for 1.5 that would be Mlie's ) and vanilla books and book cases aren't integrated. But Anomaly is totally supported.
Any feedbacks on possible issues would be great!
