No stress. I've gotten it to work acceptably for my personal use. Judging from the comments there are a few people who find the skull attacks too powerful & dangerous. But the changes are simple enough to make. Maybe add a short explanation for how to change the main values of the spell. That's less work than making an in-game option menu.

I believe those were prototype versions that I forgot to remove. This is my first foray into modding so its a bit messy. When I get a chance I'll unpack the modding tools again and take a look. I was hoping to make the rarity of the Undead Blast a bit similar to the level 2 magic missile.

Either way, I think the necromancy minions actually shoot a weaker version of the spell but again I'd have to double check

Yeah, that's the problem I have. I managed to change the explosion values to not damage terrain and be much smaller, while the projectiles now only deal 6 total damage. For how often these critters shoot, I think that's much more in line with Noita's difficulty. However, I noticed that you actually have 3 (I think?) new spells in your files. One is called Skull Grenade, another is apparently another version of Skull Grenade but weaker and yet another is called Necro Shadowflame. What are they? Are they maybe buffed up versions that your minions start shooting as you advance into harder biomes or something?

@Yaddah I can change it up a bit. The explosion shouldn't damage yourself, but it could still trigger other explosives.

How can I change the skull spell to not explode? I like the idea of buffing the silly necromancy spell, but I don't think it should also come with an explosion hazard.

@Maniac_X, Necromancy itself is a spell that this mod changes. This mod also adds a seperate perk called Raise Ghouls that you can find in the world. I have another mod on my page that lets gives you all of the mod contents to begin with. I admit, starting with all of this is a bit overpowered, but it's a great way to live out necromancy desires in Noita

Update!: Fixed a TON of stuff for 1.0, should be compatible with most mods now (maybe) and changed a few settings so minions should no longer mutiny (maybe)

The one that popped out at me the most was telekinetic kick being removed, though I can show you a screenshot comparing with and without the mod.

This mod removes 6 perks from my game. This is disappointing as I think necromancy needs the boost.

the skulls cause a lot of lag, but only sometimes. For example one run might not have the lag and others the game goes into "slow-mo mode" every time a skull is on screen.

@Tanelorn Given how rare the necromancy spell is, and that the skulls only do 10 damage, I think it's balanced

This isn't better necromancy, it's overpowered necromancy. Raised bodies fire flaming skulls? Far too much.

Try downloading goki's things from github and make sure it loads before the necromancy mod and after selectable classes. I'll try to make it work with the steam version. The class should be on the 2nd page.

make sure you enable the mods in the mod menu in the main menu screen, then start a new game for them to work.

so far every minion has betrayed their master (me), but that is the cost of dark magic. lol nah, it's a cool idea just needs some work, i think necromancy has always needed a buff and this is what it needed.
