@RockCaster Thanks! I would've wanted to not have those barriers too, but they are there for optimization reasons. I had to keep the layers as separate render zones for the sake of good framerate.

Funny enough; I didn't know what AG Racers were when I played this map, I used a Dodge Challenger lmao.

Ah I see, yeah I've been using the map a lot recently (I do really love the map btw lol) to play around with workshop vehicles and making dupes that are ag-racer themed. I just find it a bit silly to just have a car or a racer to suddenly stop in mid air because of the walls around the clouds instead of falling to ground level due to my "expert" driving in the source engine.

@Rylix The issue is still the same, because the engine version is still the same. In theory the map could perform without the walls, but only if nobody ever builds anything complex. The walls are there specifically so that high prop count creations by players can be hidden in remote segments.

Hey Koopa after checking some of the older comments, one asked if was possible to have a alt map without walls between the sections and you mentioned how it wasn't possible in gmod because of optimization and wasn't in gmod hammer for visleaf (I think, I don't use hammer).

I was wondering if it can be pulled off now or is it still the same?

if not even without the walls how bad does the map preform without it?

@Nicko Sadly no, because the walls need to be there for optimization reasons to create separate render areas. The version of the engine that Gmod uses doesn't have the option to have a non-solid wall that still creates a visleaf, from what I can tell that feature didn't come around until CSGO, and therefore it's not available in Gmod Hammer editor.

@Baron Dan Any cars work any addon pack, even the stock HL2 jeep. All of the tricky segments have bypasses for slow vehicles.
