@ÜberLink I believe the reason the mercenaries were instructed not to open the robocrates was because Grey Mann made the crates as a way to get all of his money back, as the mercs destroyed a large portion of his robot army, whom of which run on money.

I think a 2nd Robot update is an awesome idea, I really want to know why we weren't supposed to open the RoboCrates, did anybody else remember the comic about the update, about these mysterious crates and the warning that was giving by the Engineer from the Future. Well, I hope all of these items get accepted. Also if anybody wants Neodement's enhanced robot models for Garry's Mod and Source Filmaker they are downloadable in both workshops, Like and Favorite, because they are awesome

one thing that ticks me off is that the robots wear and use mann co products (tyrants helm, buff banner, eyelander, direct hit)

mymumisabitch people hated it because it was one of the first updates that brought no new weapons, people are tired of hats and want new weapons because all of the old ones are starting to get boring to use,

Why is everyone saying that Robotic Boogaloo bad? It was a good jump to bring TF2 closer to the community, and the hats looked good. Also, they dropped in mvm instead of weapons when completing a mission sometimes, bringing a little more for completing an mvm tour to you. And if you don't like how they look, then fine. Don't use them. Sell them to someone else if you got one. The update broke nothing. It didn't break a good game mechanic or invent a new annoying-ass mechanic that nobody would like. Just. Fucking. Cool-looking. Hats. There's no reason to hate it.

Please Valve don't make a 2nd Robotic Update. Unless there are any NEW weapons.

I don't think anyone would want a 2nd Robotic Boogaloo. I've heard people saying it was one of the worst major updates in TF2 history. If they added robot-themed weapons, it would be an entirely different story.
