@melc311 In case you don't get an answer from the creator, it's because there's a 2GB limit on workshop submissions, and they likely planned to create multiple maps using the asset pack which is split into 4 files that are each close to that limit. Also this came out a week after the official tools were released so I imagine everyone was just figuring things out as best they could.

Is there no way to pack the models and textures in the BSP? Downloading all CSGO assets again seems excessive just for one map.

Hello i really would like to use hl alyx sfm instead sfm , (way more convenient ) my friend who is making MIRV hlae (most complete tool for making fragmovies on csgo) will remake import/export script he made for sfm but for hl alyx , but since there is only dust 2 available , he won't make it unless there is all official maps ported . Is there any way i can reach you and ask if you could port others maps . Im willing to pay ! Best regards

Insane , ive spend 2000 hours on sfm , now i can switch to s2sfm , but is it possible to get the other "official maps " ? because im using agr scripts (wich allow to import sequence from csgo demos ) so you can rerender Real action that happens in sfm (hopping he is going to also make the script on s2fm (i know him) i bet he will.but we do need an official map pack .Thanks for this already !

Sorry for the double post i did hit the size limit of 1000 letters xD

Here is the picture of my problem. As you can see all the textures seems to be recognized since they show up and their path is good but it shows as a missing texture and can't be previewed

@Gabe Follower Hey thanks for the answer on my profile. I sadly came across this guide multiple times already but with no success. it does recognize my "modname_imported" in the game list but all textures in it have this error : "*texture_name.vmat* is overridden by a leafier mod.".

I have my unedited textures in the "Half-Life Alyx\game\vindictus" folder with all its .VMT, .VTF and .TGA that i needed to extract aswell as the game's GameInfo.txt

Then i do have the converted stuff in "Half-Life Alyx\content\vindictus_imported" containing only .VMAT and .TGA that it generated.

Finally i edited my gameinfo.gi in "Half-Life Alyx\game\hlvr" for it to look like that :

Game vindictus_imported

So after all that, desptie having all materials paths found, they all looking like missing texture with that *texture_name.vmat* is overridden by a leafier mod.*

@Gabe Follower Hey! first of all good job and i have a question for you. I am also in the process of porting Source 1 maps to Source 2 and i would like to know if you also encountered the fact that textures, once you have openned the VMF, are tiny. The "scale" doesn't import properly while the "shift" (rotation) does. If yes i would like to ask you if there is a solution to bulk resize without messing with the texture rotation (using "Align to grid" and "Align to face" mess up the texture rotation).
