FYI, the trainability for some creatures may be missing - to fix this, open the XML in the Defs folder and add the trainability tag on anything that's missing (you can use the XML in Core as a guide). There's also one tag marked Simple that should be None for 1.3.

Love this mod, but the problem is I can't train them...
I have tamed a bear, and it can't train him at anything unlike the normal bear

This appears to be working with 1.3, but needs a 1.3 tag so the game knows this and people can find it when filtering mods for current game version.

Out of curiosity does this have any android tiers or androids mod compatibility? Like for example android tiers implants/upgrades able to be installed, immune to organic diseases, able to live off energy even without food, can't be hunted and eaten by organic creatures, or act like robots similar to android tiers robotic animals?

This is an incompatibility with Pack Animal Mods, like More Vanilla Overhaul or More Pack Animals.

From my understanding:
Any mod adding pack-animals must add textures to show them with item bags.
Changing Vanilla animal defs (like the muffalo) to become pack-animals changes all modded animals to become pack-animals as well (like muffalo->synthetic muffalo).
But those animals were not intended to become pack-animals, and therefore lack the texture file.

You can see this while using Rimpedia, as it tries to load the texture during startup, which fails.

Love this mod too! Gives a fun alternative way of getting resources but yeah i think they spawn a little too often. Considering they give quite usefull resources they should be rarer

still too many synthetics ? i were thinking to set the spawnrate to 15% (it's 20% now). Would be helpful if i would get a little feedback about the spawn and the loot then i balance it better.

I'm seeing predators hunting and consuming the synthetic animals in my games. Since they're nonorganic and drop inedible items on butchering, is there a line of code you, O great mod creator, that would disable the hunting or consumption of them by wild animals? :steamhappy:

Otherwise, I'm really enjoying the weird blue creatures. It makes my tribal run a lot easier since steel is hard to come by, and I love the fucked-up ecosystem in suggests. I do ~feel~ like the synthetic animals spawn a little too frequently, but that might be a factor of my map sizes and that they stand out on the wildlife tab.

same way you butcher other animals.
because you get resources like steel, components, plasteel and synthread from them and that give a new option because vanilla you don't get those resources from them.

I'm sure if you contact those mod authors, most of them will let you redistribute modified versions of their textures.

Giddy-Up! shouldn't need a patch, it automatically ropes in modded animals.

There are no male or female. Most of them you can taim like in vanilla.

hey, nice idea, but the spawnrate is maybe a bit too high, and bigger problem, even if it's a bit logic, some of those creatures are way too heavy to be carried by colonists or pets, i just killed a rhino and his weight is around 180 kg.
