@RedPine my first ridgie was ridgeless, ridgeless ridgies rule

I grew up with a Rodesian Ridgeback. She came from a long line of top notch, snotty showdogs, but she was born ridgeless so we bought her for cheap! (It's similar to a grown dalmation not having spots.) (I'm not hating on showdogs, just commenting on the oh-so-dramatic personalities that breed has. The expressions she made were priceless.)

She had all the Rodesian rambuctionousness while also being easy to pet.

@salmontoastie, their ridge feels like.... well, it's stiff hair in a ridge, so feels like a bristle mohawk? Like running your hand down a bristle brush, but the hair is angled to a point, and it's softer than a bristle brush. Dangit, I thought it would be easy to explain, but now I find it's impossible

@SalmonToastie no worries, everyone has their preferences! Id be happy to give it a shot. I didnt see border collies in vae, only spidercamp's version(which does seem kind of lassie collie), so if you had a link to what you meant that would help.

Awesome art and mod, don't want to seem like a snob but do you reckon you could give a Border Collie a shot? The only other mod has rather conflicting art with VAE unlike yours.

And thanks for showing this dog off, its history is really cool.
