Yes - sorry I forgot to update the linked workshop items. It works with Apothecary (Continued), as well as Medical Supplements (Continued) and Social Supplements (Continued) if you have those installed.

Thank you so much for this! Good changes, too. I always envisioned the witcher trials involving toxins for sure, but def a lot of herbs, and a pinch of magic ofc. :365Fox:

Just updated:

Brew values dropped to $100.

Added support for Medical Supplements: Poppy seeds (opium) now replace aloe leaves in the brew of dreams.

Added support for Social Supplements: Mint tea replaces garlic powder in the brew of grasses.

Added back hops as an ingredient for brew of dreams, and psychite tea for brew of grasses.

I'm looking into changing the recipes slightly, likely using some items from medicial/social supplements and maybe adding the psychite tea (or at least leaves) back.

The dollar values are being set by the base mod, I didn't change them here. But nothing in this mod should be available for sale to or from traders, due to the following xml tag <tradeability>None</tradeability>.

I wonder though if the $10k value on all the brews and swords affects the size of raids you'll get...

I'm happy to change all the brews to be zero value, or just a few hundred or something, if they do.

I have a suggestion for tweaking the value of the brews: With the apothecary patch I find that the sword and brew are worth like $10,000 to sell... I noticed that the witcher's sword cant be sold and Im not sure if the brews can be... but for trial of grass and witcher's sword, they are so easy to make.. at least with Apothecary... Mean while I sell like 500 beer that takes me a big farm a week to grow make and only get like <$5000...
Isnt $10,000 a bit over the top? Though Coarse salt is a bit limited on non mountain maps, it might not be the case for mountain bases
Assuming that the brews can be sold... I think if one can secure a decent supply for coarse salt I think the first tier brew might just be a easy money maker? I personally think perhaps downgrading it to like $2000 would be a fairer price or just simply not sellable like the sword... And after all imo the brews should be intended for personal use rather than used as a money maker

Heh, I hadn't actually ever stopped to read the descriptions. I've reworked them all slightly and will push an update out with the new ones tomorrow.

Reminder: update the caption with this patch too plz to reflect the changes in recipe..
Its a bit weird to make the trial of grass when in the description it demands for psychoid leaves but in the recipe it has nothing to do with psychoid but with like salt and ginger powder and kale powder

Updated recipes to be more complex for the Brew of the Grasses. Increased quantity of ingredients for Brew of Dreams and Brew of Grasses.

Yeah, I was trying to follow the tech tree used in Apothecary, which doesn't unlock belladonna, St John's wort and wormwood until later on.

I also tried to make it so that each recipe doesn't reuse many of the ingredients of the others. I screwed up henbane in that plan though, as both the tea and one of the elixirs require it.

Very cool idea, however I would maybe add more/change the herbs for the Trial of the Grasses, right now the recipe reads kind of like just making a batch of nettle soup...

Maybe focus more on the actually toxic herbs like belladonna, St. John's wort, wormwood, etc.
