But I did I look into it, and the problem you're having is that when you spawn one of the wrecks, if one of the loose parts spawns underground and falls out of the world, the model despawns.
To stop it from happening, look up into the air when spawning the wrecked models so nothing falls through the floor. It helps to do that when spawning any of them, because even the attached parts can get stuck in the floor and cause problems when posing.
Except for that, this addon stills great (Sorry for bad english)
There's better MI-8 models out there now anyway.
The version in the pack with no turret and the DSHK mounted on the top is the closest you'll find.
And technically the closest thing to an 'armed SR-71' would've been the YF-12 interceptor, but it never made it out of the prototype stage and it's not really an SR-71 variant.
