Any idea how to recover a corrupted save campaign? This mod had worked for me until September 4th. I've narrowed down the issue to this mod. If i disable this mod my game loads but then it crashes when i try to load any of the saves for the campaign i was playing. if i enable the mod then my game is stuck on the initial loading screen before the game loads to main menu. i like mk1212, but this is the third campaign ive had get corrupted.

I went ahead and just made a mod, its called No Unit Cap for 1212 (updated)

You will want the Campaign_Cap column, scroll down until you reach number 1146 which should be the first unit. Shift left-click the number in the Campaign_Cap column (You should not be able to edit the number when you click it, if you can try again.) Then click and pull the slider down to the bottom and then shift left-click the last mk unit's Campaign_Cap number. This should highlight all of the mk unit's Campaign_Cap number.

Right-click and choose Apply Expression to Selected Cells. Enter a number above 0 to the pop-up (I chose 100). Save and install, which is covered in the Reddit thread I mentioned earlier.

If you have any questions please ask and if you know how to publish a mod and want to walk me through it I'd more than welcome it.

I was able to mod this myself but I don't know how to publish it.

How I did this was to get Pack File Manager (https://sourceforge.net/projects/packfilemanager/)

I then manipulated the instructions from this Reddit thread (https://www.reddit.com/r/totalwar/comments/1rnnlw/removing_unit_caps_in_custom_battles/)

The part manipulated was which .pack I chose. You need to use the .pack file from 1429109380 (C:>Program Files (x86)>steam>steamapps>workshop>content>325160>1429109380)

By using this mod in every campaign, I was removing the ridiculous soldier limitation in the game and producing my elite soldiers, but I saw that the mode that works every day does not work in my new campaign today. I cannot produce elite and disciplined products because of their number. Please fix this mod, we need it very much, dear developer

Mod doesn't work. Not using anything that would have compatibility issues.
Trying to recruit more than one english foot knight into my army, but unable to. I can recruit when disbanding the one other foot knight in my army, so it clearly is an issue with this mod.

can confirm that this mod actually still works, thank you so much PaulPacea. All you guys need to do is put the mod on top of all the official 1212AD mods. Afterwards it should work just fine.

This mod works perfectly put it on the top of 1212 mod, on top of 1212 I have 1 turn research (cuz i dont want tooo long campaign), I have 12TPY and then this mod, and after all 8 1212 mods+ charater chance of death -900% to be like 3KTW :P Thanks dude for creating this mod. And works for French also I just recruit 3 garde.

I have tried editing this file myself to make it work, but I am not sure why it isn't working, 99% units are listed and all are set to unlimited recruitment, I have tested it by changing to campaign cap limit 999 etc, still does not reflect in game.

Not very experienced, but I had a go, any advice would be welcomed.

Doesn't seem to work for Kingdom of France (their unique guard units), only for the military order units.

@alloutgammer20 for attila (and most tw games) when you make a mod, you put it in your game's data folder with an image of the same name and then you go to the launcher's workshop and a next to your mod, where other mods will have a yellow or green marker depending on if they are "up to date", your mod will have a blue folder. click on it and it will promt you to upload it, if i remember correctly
