So played this in 4.0 and only real issue I've seen is it causes the L-Cluster to trigger the L-Drakes, Gray, and the Gray Tempest all at the same time and causes the L-Cluster to spawn with nearly double the systems (still only one Terminal and Tempest Factory systems). Just thought I'd share my experience so far. (In 5 games the Dessanu haven't ever spawned.)

i tried using this and l cluster+ and annexed the empire that spawned in the cluster, now i have the gateway activation and l cluster access techs but it says "cant set l cluster policy" and wont let me close them

I have activated the L-gates prior to getting this mod. I can't close them. I control the entire L gate cluster. so I am not sure what I am doing wrong. No decision can be seen in my capital. or anywhere else for that matter.

For some reason this mod in combination with Gigastructural engineering causes the AI to stop surveying. This seems to happen regardless of load order.

Question on how do you close the L cluster gate. I researched the tech yet no where is it showing I can close it just the normal L gate gui. Am i stupid because it is somewhere else or is it a glitch

This is always a necessary mod for my list.

I have run into one issue, using Giga and the EHOF, I had two blackholes spawn in the cohesive cluster with deactivated l-gates that cannot be activated. I had already opened and colonized the cluster. I tried removing the l-gates [effect remove_megastructure = this] so I could rebuild them, but I can't seem to remove whatever flag is keeping me from doing so. The black holes don't have the "has_megastructure" flag, they have a "cant_build_here" flag which I am assuming is from Gigastructures? Not the end of the world, I figure it might be due to how the spawning works for the cohesive worlds, but if you have any ideas, I'm all ears.

Any luck with the concept of the player getting access to the L-cluster system by building the L-gates? Understand things take time, just curious if you’ve looked into it further!

How to use it? The research suggests that the L-star gate can be closed on the control panel at the terminal exit, but I haven't found how to operate it:steambored:

Is it possible to have L-gates disabled as a game setting option, but still be able to build L-gates as the player and have it spawn? I hate how L gates are implemented in game/vanilla and how rare they can be to find (might be how I have gateways set to spawn, but only two L-gates ever generate). Would be nice to still have the L-gates but not have to worry about the Ai empires/crisis having other l-gates and using them.

Thank you for keeping this mod updated! I only recently found it after playing with L gates turned off for far too long with how annoying they can be. Excited to play with it again and be able to disable L gates!

I wonder if this is doable with Gateways... or I still haven't found the mod for it yet -_-, destroying hyperspace lanes (from another mod :) and turning all gateways off and cutting off the rest of the galaxy during the crisis onslaught. They should've had an migration treaty with me :)

Hi FirePrince, I am trying to use this mod allong with 'Crisis Manager - Mid-Game Edition' (for 3.4.*), but I am a little in over my head. Both mods heavily alter 'distar.10950' to control how the gates are first opened.
Can you share some information on the what-does-what of the event code? Would you have the timeand interest to create (or help me create) a compatibility patch?

I can't confirm the claims at all. It seems more like an unknown mod conflict. But I can take a closer look at that after my vacation.

For those of you having troubles, I hope you save often. The only fix seems to be deactivating the mod and loading from a point *before* the L-Cluster has been loaded into your galaxy. The L-Gate the project flags seems to break, unfortunately, but all of the others will still work and Terminal Egress will be open once they have been reactivated..

It seems that the L-cluster only opens if there are dessanu or the gray tempest in it. Otherwise, the L-gate in Terminal Egress stays closed, and the command you suggested a few days ago doesn't change that. Other than that, thanks for making this amazing mod!
