It's an XML mod, so the "code" is actually in the download when you install it. It's not obfuscated. Ngl, if you can't navigate that and figure how to retrieve it, I don't think it's the best idea for you to also put forth the changes needed for the next CE release.

If you've been following the CE discord, the base projectile comp needs to change, and since the mod actually changed, the filepath references need to change to utilize their textures for ammo. Maintaining this patch sorta dropped my interest.

I can't figure out Steam Workshop and I probably misunderstood github -- the following file only addresses the version number and the three missing ammo images (I also switched Bulletstorm ammo from using the large charged ammo image to the small charged ammo image given its size relative to the other rounds). If there are any issues with my patch or any other changes you'd like to see please let me know.

I'd rather take an opportunistic approach and simply upload and only worry if someone has problems with it afterwards.

I made a patch to fix the version number and the three ammo types which wouldn't load (bulletstorm, pain gun, and gauss), is there a way I can send you a copy or would you be offended if I uploaded it?

Yeah, I noticed once that pain gun ammo on trader was a big red cross aka no texture. And the mod complains about missing package.id - so probably ammo stuff.

Ok I found out what the problem is, it is not your patch it's "Combat Effects for Combat Extended" fault

If the AI has Guns from Sparkling world I get a bug log, also one time the AI tried to shoot with the dommdsday rocketlauncher and then a huge explosion in the left corner of the map happend. Had to reload and kill this guy with developer mode.

Thanks! It might do, it works well as an anti-infantry weapon, but doesn't even scratch centipedes, which negates its description.

I believe that the special secondary effects actually ignore armor iirc with how CE works

Hey, thank you very much for this mod, really works well. Was just wondering about the Plasma Gun and cartridge- its description says it can melt through armour whereas its actual pen values are basically non existent. Thanks and sorry for being a bother

Hello! May I ask if there is a possibility of changing pain stick into a single-handed weapon instead of a two-handed weapon please? Since that would be a bit more reasonable for policemen equipping a ballistic shield for protection when using a pain stick....

Currently, it should run, but it'll just give you a little warning when adjusting your modlist that it's out of date.

VintageFruitcake, btw i was using this patch for more than half a year with modular sparkling worlds, everything looks great, except for 2 failed dependencies in mod load order.

Getting a weird error: Depends on ceteam.combatextended steam. which is not loaded. I do have combat extended loaded its just not detecting it for some reason.
