Troy, Pharaoh and 3Kingdoms all have a proper day night cycle.
If CA want they can do it easily for Wh3, dunno why they didn't make it.
yeah bud unfortunately no way for the moment.
1) Why the sea always looks like it's got patches of oil on it? https://i.imgur.com/fIylUta.png
2) How to use this mod without changing the color of the sea. I would like day night cycles, but I really prefer vanilla sea color.
Really hope the minor settlement is a temp solution cause it is a really terrible one if it stays.
I tired but the method I used for WH2 doesn't work on WH3. So I need to figure out how to do it first I am afraid
Sorry didn't notice you comment.
I was letdown by the awful launch state and I have to admict most things have improved since then, but I am still disappointed by many things like sieges, the removal of most minor settlements instead of a better solution, the incredible amount of bugs and things not working properly at every patch that seems it will never end.
Hopefully in a year or two we will have a great and polished franchise, but for sure it feels like a permanent beta now
I have plans but for now everything it is on stand-by.
I don't like the direction CA is going with the game and that kills my motivation in making mods.
We will see how the future goes
I hope porting is easy! I'll be looking out for them once CA has released the WH3 Assembly kit!
I will try porting it once I finished working on my main battle weather mod
Night also makes dark and grey areas hard to make out. You can barely see them.
I'd rather have day or night be switch on permanently, instead.
I really wanted to but it is not possible. The only way I could do the cycle is with a texture, the lighting underneath doesn't change.
That can be done only with Troy or 3k system, unfortunately those system are not used in both Wh 2 or 3 either.
This might be obvious, but when you start the game and it shows the window to choose the particular total war game, you will need to click "Mod Manager" to enable this mod. (This might seem obvious but is easy to miss if you typically do not use mods!!)
