This hasn't been updated in 4 years guys. I don't think fixes are coming. We'll have to use the parts that work, and edit out everything else.

Hey, to anyone looking to use this mod:
As of right now, do not use the MagSize, MagSize_Small, Recoil, Hitman or Speedy upgrades.
They will currently crash your game.

Every other upgrade works properly, it's just those 5 (and their Alpha versions).

For the first 3, just use Zedternal's default ones instead.
There's no default version of Hitman or Speedy, however.

You are free to replace Zedternal Reborns weapon upgrades with my versions or add mine and theirs together. My unique upgrades don't have a counterpart so they must either be added to the list or ignored. WeaponUpgrade_WeaponUpgrades= before the upgrade class is imperative because otherwise the config will not load it. After adding that line you add my mod name followed by the class name. So Illimitable would be like this:
WeaponUpgrade_WeaponUpgrades=ZedternalExt.WMUpgrade_Weapon_Illimitable
As for the zed group versions, they all work from the weapon upgrade system, so they get added into the weapon upgrade section in the Zedternal Reborn config just like all the other upgrades. Hope this helps!

I don't really understand how to go about adding your Class list. Am I supposed to be replacing the existing ones? Do I add 'WeaponUpgrade_WeaponUpgrades=' to each one? Where do I add the Zed group and specific lines?

Thanks again for reply. I wouldn't guess it was just workshop fault. because I got Zedternal first and then few days later I decided to also try Ext. After I redownloaded both Zedternal and Ext assets, every weapon now have listed upgrades from tier 1 to tier 5, problem solved, Thank you!

Edit: After I deleted ZedternalReborn.ini and had fresh config, I got now 1-4 Tiers. However, I'm still missing upgrades for Tier 5 Weapons:
m99, Battle Axe, HMTech-501 Grenade Rifle, M32 Grenade Launcher.
Can you tell me if those weapons were actually listed for ZedternalExt upgrades? Because the default ZedternalReborn had available upgrades for those. Thank you.

Thank you for the answer. I didn't add to the last message, I disabled all of the old upgrades, and its actually working on weapons with lower (1-3 tiers) because every upgrade from Class List is available. I'm only confused why it does not show on 4, 5 tiers weapons, as those were bought from trader and I'm not using custom weapons. I guess I have delete the config and start over. I'll notify when it worked or not whenever I get time to change the config again.

All weapon mods are bound to any upgrades they are compatible with. All base upgrades work with every weapon. If you're not seeing any upgrades on a specific weapon then something is conflicting. Weapons get bound upgrades when they get added to the trader automatically. If you spawned the weapon or found it in the map then they would not bind unless they were already in the trader. However, if no upgrades are showing but they are visible and working for others then it could just be an error on the config side or server side. Normally, deleting the config and letting it regenerate tends to fix the issues with weapon mod binding and many other Zedternal related issues. Hope this helps! That line wouldn't exist on it's own. The "#" symbol when placed in front of any code in the .ini file tells the engine to ignore it in the config. It's a way to disable a feature in the config without removing it entirely. To re-enable it, you would simply remove the hashtag and save the file.

At first, I also thought that other types only appeared on specific weapons, but after a long time of games and repeated re-opening, there were no other types!

A lot of the weapon mods only appear on certain weapons, if some have appeared that means you have loaded the mod correctly. Check other weapons and see if any more show up.

I don't believe it would but since it's a conversion mod I wouldn't keep both. Remove all of the original Zedternal and it's configs. Both from your KF2 folder and your documents folder.

How did you do this? I'm trying to make my own extension mod. I have a single file in my extension mod, which directly references Zedternal's classes, but because I don't have any other zedternal file in my extension mod, kfeditor make refuses to work, saying it's missing the zedternal file it's referencing. How did you do this?

I believe adding the custom weapons to the Zedternal config will allow them to bind the weapon mods to them. Although I haven't tried it, it should work in theory.

I have tested this issue with 5 different users and none have reported this bug to me. I would recommend deleting your Zedternal config and let it regenerate and change nothing on it except adding one of my weapon mods and see if the issue is resolved. I had to delete my config once and it solved most of my Zedternal related bugs.

I haven't been able to replicate this bug however I know Zedternal can be weird at times. Is there a specific weapon mod that isn't showing up? or just completely no mods available?
