What is the recommended density?

It's a pity that there is no version for ETS2, really great mod

I'm actually enjoying the spawn on this one. There's always cars around, but it doesn't get excessive all the time, like so many other traffic mods. There's two files, traffic_rules_spawn, and traffic_data. I used traffic_data from another mod to make it a 'safer' experience, but left the spawn rules alone.

Yeah, I don't like the safety factors, but the 'just a little more' spawn is fine. So often an 'increased traffic' starts spawning in bunches in places that are bad for it, but, so far, this spawn file has not done that.. So I grafted in a traffic_data file from a more careful mod, and kept the spawn file. Have fun.

does this work with jazzycat ai traffic packs

I would not pride yourself on scs settings for traffic when they encourage frequent lane switching for no reason and constant brake checking which is actually illegal.

Реально крутой мод, не лагает, в отличие от Real taffic Density, а там ещё проблемы со спавном, трафик тупит, но в данном моде, всё же хочетья не много больше самого трафика на автобанах

I literally have the opposite problem... if I remove the mod, my save games crash, if I keep it, they run

FYI, this mod kept crashing my accounts to desktop even if updated to 1.50....I removed it and my game loads fine

I understand that the mod is going for performance over quantity.
AI traffic is a hard thing to balance and too much will eat your FPS.

No crashes at all after about 10 runs in Nebraska.

Here are some things I've noticed while driving...

- Saw at least 4 different vehicles disappear out of thin air while driving.
- AI crowding a single lane in cities and not using the others.
- AI causing crashes on road in cities, sometimes they don't fix themselves until you are really close to them.
- Traffic is super thin in some areas in the middle of the day. To the point where it feels like there is just nobody around.

Just as a heads-up, I think the update for 1.50 may have broken 1.49 compatibility. Pretty sure it was the only mod that got updated then my game started crashing while loading my profile.

This is probably the cause of the CTD.

I would never have thought that a mod such as this would be game-breaking, but now with 1.50 it is.

@XzibitnasD66 I'm pretty sure Zeemods Engine sounds doesn't interfere with traffic AI.

Works for me. If you also have JazzyCat and/or TrafficManiac traffic packs, try updating those. That fixed my crashes.

@Ry_Trapp0 mods seem to be crashing after 1.49 no matter what you do. I had a fully working modlist on 1.48.5 that broke after 1.49 came out, despite being on the 1.48.5 temporary. I think they might have broken something pertaining to that. 1.49 unmodded seems to be the only choice for now.

This mod crashes for the 1.49 update. Such a shame, love this mod.

I'm getting crashes with this one since the latest ATS update, all other mods disabled, on a fresh profile as well. Look forward to it getting ironed out, this is a solid mod(it was one of the last ones I disabled because I didn't want this to be the one causing the crashes lol).

Hands down the most superior and advanced traffic density mod versus what is currently available elsewhere for free and paid. Waiting patiently until it updates as it seems traffic mods and packs aren't working since 1.49 update.

Great traffic mod should also be in ets2. You will beat all the current traffic mods there easily. I have used it since I first bought ATS, It's a real 5-star mod please make an ETS2 version.

I am curious to try other traffic mods, but this one is just to good.

I am running this with several mods from Jazzycat and Trafficmaniac as well.

5 STAR! This is by far the best traffic mod I have found! I really like the density changes through out the day.
It doesn't change the unpredictable quirky behavior of the default traffic settings. Which I find funny and/or annoying sometimes. SCS got the AI just right. Keeps you on your toes.
I am however curious as to why 9am and 9pm are chosen for the most traffic density (rush hour). I feel that 6-7am ish and 6pm ish, would be more fitting.
It is just a game, and feel like I'm being petty, for something that is given to me free.
