Therefore all mods have to b eupgraded too to be compatible again.
I started, but the mod manager isn't able to handle all my mods in an acceptable way for now.
BUt morness is working on this. I'm already testing first private betas of the upcoming overhaul for the mod manager. I'm looking forward to it beeing finished this week, so I hope to be able to upgrade all my mods at the weekand. :)
Therefore it can be removed by verifying your game cache after unsubscribing from this mod without any problems.
If for any reason this is bugged for you, delete the files xopen.mps and xopen_x2.mp3 in your AoE\sound\stream folder and then verify your game cache.
Not sure about that. Would be more difficult than what I did until now for AoM is 3D...
Would be a lot more time consuming too - so it depends on free time and feeling like having enough motivation to finish such a project.
