Awesome dude!

Great to hear! This is one of my favorite mods for Stellaris.

After a rather long hiatus I'm back and set to work on updating my mods. Unfortunately Paradox latest patches changes more than I had anticipated. So far I have no idea why but I can't seem to get this mod going as its own separate species. I was able to update the original version of this mod where the Valyrians are part of the Humanoid species. I try to figure out what causes that but so far I'm clueless about what's needed to be done.

I second Bones. The namelist shows up but the species itself is vacant, not sure why.

The names show up on the names list, but the portraits do not.

It has been a while since I used this mod, but it no longer shows up in the "appearance" tab. Anyone else having issues using this mod?

@TABBONEM Sorry, not possible. I was never the original creator of this mod. I had just kept it alive for some time. Unfortunately my time with modding has also reached its end due to the influence of real life.

Possible to do this with new human portraits?

@Zer0_Requiem Unfortunately is this much more difficult than it sounds. Each species has its very own file that clearly regulates what kind of clothes are in use. It is, I must say it that way, impossible to let a species use clothes from other mods. The only way is to copy the clothes form said mods and that add the necessary command lines, otherwise the game wouldn't even recognize the files.

Would there be a way to have it so these guys can use the clothing added by other mods?

Yeah in the books Valerian hair could range from bright gold, to silver, to white. I think you just need to add some variations to the hair possibilities :)

@Tex I would love to get into an intelligent and mentally challenging discussion with them but I would also prefer to withhold myself because most of them are unarmed.

@TurtleShroom Ok, for a moment I had to question my own sanity. Turns out white hairstyles are already included. It seems, this was already questioned by someone on the original version some time ago. The thumbnail unfortunately doesn't shows it because it was created beforehand and I never updated it. But you can see it on the last screenshot with all the different leaders.

I never played CK2 or the mod for but good to know. It that case I should clearly add this to the mod soon. Don't worry. You can still use it so far. When I upload the new version the mod just gets expanded. Compability issues with existing save are not going to happen.

The CK2 "Game of Thrones" Mod is more closely tied to the books than the films. Its Valyrians have solid white hair.

@TurtleShroom This is due to several factors: The GoT-wiki stated that valyrians have "Silver-gold/Platinum-white hair" and it is mostly to my own limitations in modding. Also have I mostly used the content of the original creator and only made it fit for the current versions. But I might be able to include purely white hairstyles in the next days if it is that what you are asking for.

Why are your Valyrians blonde? At the least, there should be white hair as an additional color.
