Hm I'll send you my full modlist tomorrow if I gets a chance but none of my other mods should be causing issues I mostly have QOL mods like build info and build vision etc

I can not reproduce the error. I don't have any issues when I load north wind W vanilla replacer together with BCAT

Vanilla weapon replacers generally do seem to break the mod for some reason the dev said he was going to look at it in Feb. of this year but no update was released. I haven't had any issues with programming extenders though.

seems to be whenever i use it with a vanilla weapon replacer or npc weaapon or programming extenders that break the mod but it seems to happen with wc

When using this mod, weponcore seems to think its not a weaponcore mod any fixes? It's worked fine for years until sometime in the past week

@CDEEKS I figured that out after posting. The vanilla replacer and the Star wars weapons WC mod, particularly the SW Weapons WC mod were causing my crashes. The author said he doesn't know how to fix it unfortunately.

Jhonj44 I had same issue it is the vanilla replacer mod i removed that and crashes stopped.

Steam won't let me post the entire error, but everytime the game crashes, I get sound errors in regards to 25mm Nato Gattling shot

none of the turrets seem to be doing any damage. also the original mod has a cannon called "big berttha" that i'm not seeing in this one

Why the hell 300mm auto canon turret moves so slowly even it cannot shot a nearly flying vechile. Anybody have any idea how to increase the speed of turrets?

I just tested the gatling ammo box and that still works. Make sure to check if there might be other mods that could be modifying it.

Hi,

Like Jofire101 below, I cannot craft the required ammunition for the Sentry Gun. I tried using the "Gatling Ammo Box" ammo, but the gun won't accept it.

Note: I was using the original Battle Cannons and Turrets (DX11) when I last played ages ago. I replaced it with an updated version claiming WeaponCore compatibility. That version DID use the "Gatling Ammo Box" for these guns, but had other issues - mainly being the guns didn't fire. I was pointed to this version, so have removed all traces of the older versions, installing JUST this version, and I cannot use the turrets due to lack of ammo production ability.

These light turrets were a main-stay for me during the early-game, so it'd be great to get them working.

the NATO 25x184mm gatling ammo for the Small Grid Sentry Gatling and Sentry Gun does not exist, both in the assembler and in the Creative Spawn Menu (SHIFT+F10)

Hey OB, maybe I'm just an idiot (very possible) or maybe its a mod conflict but the autocannons in this mod seem super underpowered.

I was trying to use the 300mm casemates on a ship using the water mod and they cant even shoot down an unshielded light armour fighter, 900mm does very little damage as well, only destroying like 2 light armour blocks.

I feel like I'm better off using a fuck ton of vulcans than any autocannon.

If i am in fact an idiot and this is fine for everyone else then i apologise.

I recently open up an older saved world file and I got a message that all the Battle Canon and Turret blocks were being removed from the game because they were no longer compatible with the latest version of the Weapon Core mod. 😲🤷‍♂️

So just to be clear, this is the version that will be compatible with the newest Weapon Core mod right? 🤔

It is the new version of BCAT and I link to it as well and as you can see I'm the author of the other mod as well. When going from the standard DX11 to this one there will be some turret loss as I changed some of the subtype ids to match the naming scheme I use. The subtypes are completely different for SOBST.

and it claims to be a new version of BCAT as well, is it possible for both of these to use the same blockID?

@TheSourceOfPotassium modder in general who have both vanilla and WC version tend to keep the blockID the same so should the switch from one version to the other they won’t have to go around and replace those blocks, they all remain where they were place initially but with the functionality of the installed version.
