Doesn't seem to work. Nothing happens when I press the trade buttons. Is there something specific we are supposed to do in the marketplace map?

Definitely still working as of this writing. As others have noted: you need to have resources to trade -in hand-, not the ones you earn at the end of the each chapter.

Hey there! I like the idea of this mod, but when I visit the shop I don't get the option to convert all material types into the other. I believe I only saw the option for converting spellthreads? Additionally, button were missing from the augment shop shared that shares files in "Expanded Overland Shop/Warehouse." Any ideas on why that might be?

Is there any way to modify this or create a mod similar to it on the between chapter screen?

I usually don't realize I am short on heartwood, for instance, until I try to upgrade both my mystic staff and my hunter's elemental weapon between chapter. And then I'm sitting there with 8 extra ingots or something.

Even at 2:1 it would be a lot better than throwing away LP that I want to use at the end of the campaign.

Possible compatibility issue with Expanded Overland: Warehouse, in that it causes the market event to null out and not fire correctly. This basically disables the entire Wilderness Scouting event pool, since the market will repeatedly attempt to fire and fail.

@ back in the bottle- the trade buttons only showed up for me once I hit act two and had some materials from the settlements.

That sounds great! I think the user interface may be a little weak if you want to put a large number of choices. It needs one button per choice and there is not much room for buttons.

I say leave it to 2:1 ratio, the reason being is that for balance purposes it should come at a cost and it will make the player have to balance resources better and still have to collect a bit of everything than lets say stack up on fabric and be able to literally make and trade anything out of that one resource.

Thanks for the suggestion of changing the rate. I mostly wanted to see if people would find this useful, even if there was a penalty. I hope the dev team will decide to implement something like this in the game itself, and then they can do something more sophisticated with exchange rates.

Great mod!, i was impress the first time i entered the market, Just a suggestion maybe its not necessary to go with a 2.1 rate i find that i can not exchange much when i go to the market due to this handicap. I dont think unbalance the game change to a rate to 1:1. We are heroes of the people after all.

More jobs like this will really increase the strategy tactics in overland map instead of throwing all your full party to one battle, no matter if its and attack tower, a cave, or a incursion defense.

Thanks for the details. I have fixed the bug where the number of heartwoods displayed was always zero. By accident I was attempting to display the number of "heartwoodss".

After a few rounds of tests, turns out trading for Heartwood and trading using Heartwood does work, it's the display in the Trade dialogue/comic strip that always displays as 0.

Thanks! "No material can be converted to wood", not sure what that means? Heartwood is one of the resources. Two of any other resource can be converted into one heartwood.

The Blue Flag is quite prominent for me already. Also, sometimes in Chapter 1 (and possibly Chapter 2 if unlucky enough?), you may not get it too if there is only one wilderness scouting and it is reserved for the story.

Good point! There aren't enough different event mods yet to experiment with how the priorities should be set. The builtin events are priority 10; legendary weapons and love is in the air are at 20 so that if you have the mod installed, they will get triggered in preference to builtin events. But, in order to get town market to trigger, I made it even higher priority, 30. I thought about making town market just trigger at the beginning of play, without any event; but then people might not even notice the blue flag is there. Any suggestions?

Since this event is first triggered by a wilderness scouting, it means that when used together with Legendary Weapons, you will have to wait till at least Chapter 2 for Legendary Weapons to start.
