Ehm, yeah, manually quicksaving is recommended once in a while. :P I couldn't implement chapters because the levels are open ended and players could take any direction they want, so it only autosaves in beginning of levels.

this is awesome. really reminds me of old games; frustration beyond measure when you forget to save or when the answer is so obvious that is exceeds your thought process

Because the Steam workshop is a steaming pile of crap from a modder's perspective? I had to retry 20 times (for 2 weeks) just to get this file uploaded because the servers were always throwing error 16s at me. It's just not plausible to reupload a near 200 MB file just to include a 900 kb patch, not with how slow the uploads are, and how often they bug out for no reason.

Thanks SwitchKnife, glad you enjoyed it. ;) I'd like to see some more gadgets done someday too. Having the time net might be a possibility at least, the others are just not very suitable for weapon replacements.

So why dont you just upgrade the workshop item itself to include the hotfix instead of having to download it manually? That would be the point of Steam Workshop you know.. I won't even bother downloading it for now.

Save the gro to Content/SeriousSam3. Fixes the Crabby Beach level not loading (it required some textures from Serious Fantasy Legends CP3, so if you have that you won't need the fix).

Oh thanks for reporting that, I'll try to release a hot fix for that asap. Didn't think it was missing anything.
