Late reply but Icons are premade in this game. They can't be generated on the fly like that by modders sadly.

Quick question:

Does this work dynamically, outing icons on it based on how many pre-reps there are (in which case it should work with all mods), or did you manually put the numbers in?

Update please. as a suggestion, add Archaeostudies, Psionics, Scourge Missiles, Swarm Spawning Pools, and any other endgame tech as a new final tier. possible having the numbers colored to represent the tech type. blue for archaeo, purple for psionics, orange for acquired from endgame

It seems at least some of these aren't working. Just noticed Ground Defense Planning, Hydroponics Farming, and Offworld Trade Companies not showing any numbers. I only just noticed it but I suspect if those 3 are missing they most likely aren't the only ones.
Edit: After some hours of gameplay I can confirm several missing tier numbers. Some are working and some aren't.

The +5% Techs lack Roman numerals. Ones like "Eco-Integration Studies".

I can see why it's a low priority to add them, since it's mostly a consistency issue.

There is a mod that alerts you when you advance to a new Tech Tier, having done 6 Techs in the previous tier, but that's a somewhat different thing.

Is there a mod like this, except with the tech tiers being the in-game ones?

Ex. Particle and Tachyon lances are tier 4 technology, so the both icons would have a "4" on them?

Ok have fixed that. For some reason the actual name of the icons is one tier off and counting outposts as tier zero starbase. That kinda makes sense but its slightly annoying.

You have the Roman numeral IV, 4, for the Star Fortress Tech, even though it's the Tech for a tier-3 Starbase. The Citaldel should have the IV, being tier-4.

I'd like to see Tier numbers on the Tech for Starbases. Specifically, I'm often somewhat reluctant to research the Citadel Tech, the one that lets you uprade to 6/4 Starbases, because frankly they're not useful until you reach the end game phase, or at least the end-game'ish phase. Wheras the 6/3 grade Starbase is very useful.

As it is now, I have to carefully read the text to discern between the two, the one I want, and the one I don't want (too early), whereas if they had tier numbers like so this mods gives to so many other Techs, it'd be an at-a-glance thing, which I'd much prefer.

Idk what mod I have or what I have done to my game but I seem to already have numbers on my ship weapons.

Even when I disabled all my active mods and run pure vanilla Stellaris I have the numbers(But no on buildings, which is why I use Tier Numbers: Buildings)
