If you want to make Stick Lanterns to use metals from other mods, do the following in the mod's Def folder:

<WoodLog>20</WoodLog>
<Steel>20</Steel> Delete This Line
</costList>
Add the Following
<costStuffCount>20</costStuffCount>
<stuffCategories>
<li>Metallic</li>
</stuffCategories>
Unfortunately, The shading will be off depending on the materials used, since this mod wasn't originally designed to accommodate for different materials. However, do this can help when using mods that makes steel harder to come by and/or adds a production chain to make steel so you can have Lanterns almost from the start rather than later on after the lanterns would have easily become replaced by other options.
