Just want to report that the helmets don't require the flak armour research. Also it would be neat if you could recolour an existing suit of armour without knowing how to make them. Is it possible to do that without rerolling quality?

NM, I was curious enough to read the PDF, even though the chance of me having time to write a mod before my 7yo son leaves for college is nil. That answered both my questions in full.

Oh, another question - what about lower-tech passive-only cloth/leather camo gear? Tribal hunters know how to use shading and coloration for stealth...

Just learned about the base mod, and I'm trying to get a big picture of changes. Do the various armors here only provide stealth when in the appropriate biome, or only when on specific terrain, or are they for flavor and all provide general camoflauge?
