I have no intention to use this cause my brain has decided it likes the ability to have chairs facing the right directions but I *KNEW* this was a real thing. My friend kept telling me I was full of shit but I knew it was real, thank you for proving me right! (also this is a great mod and people should use it)

@Yagami Use 'Same Spot' Mod maybe that will help. you can't cheese with a bottleneck on raids with a narrow corridor with that though. :D

It's not working on 1.3. The working NPC will be drived away by the other one that I sent to the other workbench. Two NPCs can't share a lovelapping spot.

@Diddily, yeah, that was simply an example. Have read some people use it where I do not, a little too immersion breaking for my like (same as people throwing down that empty sleeping spot and somehow magically getting comfort from it). But I can see people/pawns doing something sitting on a bed or bedroll.

@rubbermaid_tupperware I wasn't planning on allowing animal beds, just beds that human's can use. It does seem like sleeping rolls work at the very least.

@Diddily That's awesome of you. If it works, great, if not, no worries. I was hesitant to bring it up because it seems like it may be beyond the scope of what this mod is meant to modify, and also be beyond what people want (cheesing animal beds for comfort or other such things). But it did help in certain specific scenarios.

Any way to add old behavior where you could use bed at a sitting spot (ie. could be placed on interaction spot)? Using mod, still unable in 1.3. On a sea ice run.... Cheers!

Hey, my pawns still can't use workbenches in same time . It's looks like they [spots] busy by the first come user and user will be replaced by next pawn if i forced them

Since I like playing with only 1~3 pawns, it's never about multiple people sitting in the same chair for me - it's about saving space and making my base look neat.

This and several other anti-fun nerfs (like nerfing Muffalos and Dromedaries) are really useless and stupid IMO. Tynan may be running out of good ideas.

@Ballagarraidh, You are most likely correct. If this were more than just a bring back 1.0 functionality mod, I'd penalize two pawns in the same spot by drastically reducing comfort to balance the technique, but that's beyond the scope of what I wanted to do here. I could look into it as an opt-in setting if there was interest though.

For all of those asking why this was done, it's because two colonists can benefit from a very nice chair/stool while working, which doesn't really make much sense. Furthermore, for those really tight bases, you can actually place a bed on the interaction spot and they'll get both the rest and comfort boost -while- using the benches, which was pretty overpowered both in terms of saving space, resources, and unintended interaction. The devs probably caught on and patched both, buuut, this mod does have its uses.

so this is interesting, it only doesn't work if the objects are the same exact type (research bench & research bench), if you use different types it works (research bench & machining table). I'll make this work like 1.0 again

I didn't even hear that this was removed. Like nearly all of my crafting shops rely on stacking those things up to save space around my 40+ modded benches for crafting stuff. Thanks for the mod.
