I like the mod, but...
I had JUST installed it, and the first thing that happens is that a pawn goes to bed, and while he passes thrugh the door, also a guiney pig walks into the room & can't leave now, untill the pawn wakes up :D *facepalm!*

(yes, I should have zoned the animals, but it was a newely tamed animal & guiney pigs don't auto-assign to animal pens, they are too small, and animal zones doesn't have the auto-assign functinality) *facepalm* at rimworld basic mechanics...

It would be useful if it (somehow?) was possible to make a "one way forbid"? (like how a "one way" street sign does)

Or at least be able to select the pawn I "turn off" the mod for that pawn temporarily?

Ooh, also found another serious issue with the mod; it isn't compatible with Dubs Bad Hygiene, injured pawns resting in their rooms will unlock the door for food, but not for water so doctors can't bring them any and they get dehydrated.

Love seeing this updated to 1.5, though is there any chance of fixing the issue where pawns will wake up, be unable to path to a table because the door is locked, then eat without a table in their room even though the door unlocks seconds later?

Re-release for latest RimWorld version. No design changes at the moment.

This mod is pretty basic and can be unimmersive in its current state, but it holds true to the original mod.

Had to uncheck this mod after it caused my people in a second (ruins) colony staying in their room because they missed to unblock the door.

Great Mod! QOL, but sometimes also making things more complicated as u gotta wake em up manually to give em a direct job assign outside their room.
Also i cant let my ascet sleep in the barn as he will lock all the doors.
Next issue if u have a wall missing to one s room he will lock the whole hallway.

Lock Doors uses another way of implementing restrictions and having you 2 put together ur mods could make it perfect.
Like doors could be restricted to bedowners when ones goes asleep, keeps them possible to get jobs even when resting.

The other problem could be managed by a setting of how many doors a lockable room can have in max, so never again a whole hallway gets closed leaving people not possbiel to do their jobs or leave to their own rooms

Yep same here; A pair of lovers and I needed one to go rescue a horse, but the door kept locking them both in with no way to override it.

Another time a pawn was locked in a bathroom all night, which I'm pretty sure was worse for their mood than a disturbed sleep debuff.

I know it may seem out of place.
but say someone has a mod that adds sexual themes to the game.
can we make a patch or sub-mod to allow us to say don't lock the door if doing a bedroom job.
say they offered to have sex with another person.

@board_easy The game should handle that situation and tell the mod to prevent itself from locking doors. I'll post an issue on the GitHub page and try to look at it this weekend.

So I just had an epic fight with this mod. Attempting to save two colonists suffering from heatstroke in their bedrooms after the coolers ran out of fuel. Every time i would unlock the doors and tell another colonist to refuel the cooler the doors would lock right back up. Even un-marking everything in mod settings wouldn't let the rescue team inside to save them. I'll have to look to an earlier auto save. Suggestions: adding a mod setting to over ride the mod just in case, ab auto disable if the person is suffering from medical conditions possibly reading from the 'medical emergency' notice, or even disabling itself in a heat wave or cold snap in case a safety check is needed.

I love the idea of this mod, but it gets in the way of colonist looking for tables. Is there an option to keep from colonist carrying food with them? I'm tired of the constant no table bad thought because my colonist carry food around with them then eating in their own room when they wake up

I'm not personally interested in making a patch for Dubs' mod. If someone makes a patch I can integrate it.

This mod's purpose is to be a small and simple QoL mod, compatible with vanilla.

Doors unforbid within 60 ticks (1 second).. Dub is probably checking for restrooms immediately on wakeup which doesn't even allow for 1 second to pass.

There are some issues between this and Dub's Bad Hygiene that pawns, once woken, will not unforbid the door in time to have them find a restroom outside their rooms.

Also another idea is compatibility with the Locks mod, though I'm not sure how difficult that would be and would probably be on them to implement if at all. Just suggestions.

Love the idea, but could you say on the FAQ how this works for couples/injured pawns/barracks though? Last thing you want after a raid is for your patients to lock the hospital.
