@dkelly256 please read this mod's description for the mod I suggest using instead, it's far better and more configurable.

Is this going to be updated
KelpTheShark/KasumiTakeshi  [autor] 21 apr. 2024 la 8:38
@Daint Savid Oh nice! I'm putting that in the description and I'll let them take over maintaining.

Take your time. Thank you very much.
KelpTheShark/KasumiTakeshi  [autor] 11 apr. 2024 la 21:56
@D9sinc Oh dear... I'll try to look into it soon. I was hoping it wouldn't break.
D9sinc 11 apr. 2024 la 19:44
I tried using it in unstable before Anomaly came out and I kept getting prison breaks.
D9sinc 11 apr. 2024 la 19:43
I can verify it doesn't work with 1.5. I assume it's because Ludeon changed it to work with the entities as well.
KelpTheShark/KasumiTakeshi  [autor] 11 apr. 2024 la 14:01
@Kazzier assuming nothing to do with the prison break code changed in 1.5, it should. I'll test at some point (I should have sooner)
Kazzier 11 apr. 2024 la 5:40
Anyone know if this works with 1.5?

Just wanted to stop in and say thanks for the mod. I acknowledge that the alert still appears, but everything works fine.
KelpTheShark/KasumiTakeshi  [autor] 8 oct. 2023 la 3:20
@Borporal Yes, that's intended. Well, sort of. I have enough knowledge to remove the code for prison breaks, but I could not seem to locate the code for the alert, so it remains. Believe me, I tried, but that darn alert eluded me. Glad you're enjoying the mod!
Borporal 7 oct. 2023 la 21:59
Thank you for the mod! I added it mid-save and got a little confused. I saw that there was still a prison break interval. After testing a prison-break with dev mode, no prison breaks could happen. Probably something with my specific save, but the mod works as intended.
KelpTheShark/KasumiTakeshi  [autor] 25 iun. 2023 la 0:58
Awesome, glad it's working now! Have fun!
Smiley Boi =) 25 iun. 2023 la 0:30
It was. I apologize for wasting your time, sir. I shall now continue to use this mod, have a great week.
Smiley Boi =) 25 iun. 2023 la 0:18
Turns out it might have been betterloading. Apparently that mod bricks many others. I was unaware of this at the time, need to test it now.
KelpTheShark/KasumiTakeshi  [autor] 24 iun. 2023 la 16:26
I know prepare carefully breaks a lot of mods, but other than that I'm not sure. If you open a discussion with your mod list I'll scan through and see if I can figure it out, but no promises. Let me know here if you do, I don't get notifications for discussions opened on my mods.
Smiley Boi =) 23 iun. 2023 la 16:45
Even then. I'm assuming it has to be some kind of mod conflict, which is upsetting, as I genuinely don't know what could be conflicting, as even slave-suppressing mods (No slave rebellions and so on) are broken as well. Guess I gotta mess with my mod list. Wish my Hugslib was working properly.
KelpTheShark/KasumiTakeshi  [autor] 23 iun. 2023 la 16:30
Hmm, I was playing only a week or two ago and it was working for me. Try moving it to the bottom of your mod list? @An Axolotl
Smiley Boi =) 23 iun. 2023 la 14:07
I'm not quite sure why, but it does seem to be not working. I can't find any conflicts, or even reasons, in error logs, so I'm not sure if its conflicting with anything, as its the only prison-based mod I have. Which is strange.
KelpTheShark/KasumiTakeshi  [autor] 1 iun. 2023 la 22:14
@XIII I haven't tested recently, but I did confirm it working with the 1.4 patches, and I haven't heard anyone else say it doesn't work, but to confirm - with the mod enabled, go into dev mode and choose force prison break and click on a prisoner. If a prison break occurs, then there's an issue. Otherwise, a message should pop up in the log saying that my mod suppressed a prison break. Additionally this mod is NOT compatible with any mod that also modifies prison breaks in any way.
XIII 1 iun. 2023 la 21:23
doesnt seem to work?
Lord Felix 15 mai 2023 la 0:01
I LOVE YOU FOR THIS
Mysterius 3 ian. 2023 la 9:21
I do know some basics and took a quick look at your method in the secret hope of just modifying it but you did something far too elegant for that.
I'll have to delve in the source code myself. Crap :p.

Thanks for answering !
KelpTheShark/KasumiTakeshi  [autor] 2 ian. 2023 la 16:19
@Mysterius You would have to know how to program and use harmony to create a method in C++ to modify the existing function. If you know how to program, then look up how to mod game files. I think there's a pretty decent guide in the wiki. It's not as simple as XML, unfortunately.
Mysterius 2 ian. 2023 la 11:41
Hello KasumiTakeshi ! I'd like to simply reduce the chance of prison breaks by tweaking some values. Do you know how I could do it ?
KelpTheShark/KasumiTakeshi  [autor] 16 dec. 2022 la 15:46
@Avarice haha as a small mod author: For us tiny little authors a comment thanking us is what we LIVE for. It makes the time spent developing and updating every update worth it. Thank YOU! And I hope you continue to enjoy the mod!
Avarice 15 dec. 2022 la 22:30
Well since im here. your mod has made my game better! I keep worrying that dropping comments everywhere saying "OMG TY" to the mods I use all the time would be annoying :P

If my mega archotech enhanced monster could just pick them up by the scruff of the neck and place them back into the cell instead of literally punching off my prisoners head... I would probably still use your mod because they should know better XD
Suede 11 nov. 2022 la 12:32
ty so much for this, getting real tired of how my ultra advanced death cult somehow keeps dropping dozens of keys for prisoners to break out with
KYPHAGXpX999 29 oct. 2022 la 5:35
Well deserved, man. Modders should receive more than just thanks, they make the game way better. You should put a Ko-fi or PayPal link under your mods to receive donations. You won't get much, but you'll get something. I try to donate something every time I can.
KelpTheShark/KasumiTakeshi  [autor] 28 oct. 2022 la 22:52
Just stopping in to make sure everyone who comments to thank me knows that it makes my day so much better to see that people appreciate my mod still! Thank you for being amazing people!
VelxraTV 28 oct. 2022 la 19:14
Thanks for updating!

Thank you so much, I hate killing my prisoners accidentally every time there's a prison break.

tyvm sir
KelpTheShark/KasumiTakeshi  [autor] 24 oct. 2022 la 22:49
Updated to 1.4.
KYPHAGXpX999 22 oct. 2022 la 10:26
Will this be updated to 1.4?
Ren 15 iun. 2022 la 4:11
same as below. it makes no sense when prisoners break out every week (despite what their stats say) and for them to willingly throw themselves in front of turrets. how the fuck are they picking the "locks" so often, are my colonists the most incompetent human traffickers in the world or what
Delta7777777 12 mart. 2022 la 18:11
Every time I get prisoners they seem to want to try and break out and it makes no sense how they could considering the materials my doors and walls are made of and the fact my main colony is advanced beyond all reason. How could they even pick the locks??? lol

Thanks so much for making/updating this mod, KasumiTakeshi. Your work is greatly appreciated.
handsomegrape 15 oct. 2021 la 10:15
@Caz It's called "Prisoners Dont Have Keys" by Mlie. Just do a search for "keys".
Caz 13 oct. 2021 la 1:54
@handsomegrape
Any idea what that mod would be? I would prefer that over disabling the prison break entirely, unless that other mod is some major overhaul to the prisoner system.
handsomegrape 24 sept. 2021 la 10:32
Hear, hear @Bear. I believe there is now a mod that prevents prisoners from unlocking doors though at the very least, but I'd still rather do without that frequent nuisance.
Bear 21 sept. 2021 la 3:19
@handsomegrape I have three mods that affect events, and this isn't on any of them. Apparently it's hard to fix. I totally agree, it's ridiculously frequent. And why would different prisoners in different cells with different locks who can't even talk to each other in different rooms all break out together and ignore all other locks? This is madness. /vent
handsomegrape 11 aug. 2021 la 10:07
I wish there was a way of changing the weighting of these events, so that they only have a chance of happening maybe once every 2 years or thereabouts, and stuff you could build to discourage it, but I had a prison break followed by a slave uprising, so I guess I have to do it this way. :( Worst part is that they just ignore the prison doors and just waltzes out sometimes.
KelpTheShark/KasumiTakeshi  [autor] 24 iul. 2021 la 15:01
@Skywatcher68 Good, glad that fixed it.
Skywatcher68 24 iul. 2021 la 9:47
Deleted the mod's workshop folder then resubscribed. Got the right one now.
Skywatcher68 24 iul. 2021 la 8:58
Nope, still comes up as No Slave Rebellions.
Skywatcher68 24 iul. 2021 la 8:22
Okay, thanks.
KelpTheShark/KasumiTakeshi  [autor] 23 iul. 2021 la 21:05
@Skywatcher68 Unsub and resub, there was about 1 minute where I accidentally had No Slave Rebellions uploaded here (I forgot to get a new ID), but it was fixed immediately. It must not have updated after that. It was about 15ish hours ago.
Skywatcher68 23 iul. 2021 la 20:40
Something's wrong. I'm supposed to be subscribed to this but I have No Slave Rebellions instead, to which I have *not* subscribed.
