@Chappie, the mod is being discontinued and merged into Starguard's World of Anime which will likely be Ironman compatible.

The latest update seems to be incompatible with this mod. I don't have any political advisors to choose from with this mod enabled

If you are getting a "decription file" missing, I solved it by deleting the HOI4 folder in the Paradox folder in My Documents. Back up your saves first before you delete the file, and other setting you may want to keep. That should fix the issues with mods and descriptor files!

I've tried to verify the files and reinstalled the game and I don't seem to have the luck, got any other advice for this to work? I really want to try it out

I have done everything (even the verification) but i have now something about the missing files that are in steamapps/workshop/content/394360 and im practically giving up at this point

@TehGreenlandFox, uh verify integrity of the game files then, if it does not work then reinstall HOI4 completely.

My main issue is now the missing mods_registry.json which was never in the files, nor I deleted it

@TehGreenlandFox, reinstall:
1. Put all your mods into a private collection. This will allow you to unsub and resub at once, saving a lot of time and making life easier.
2. Unsub all mods.
3. Delete what is written in /Documents/Paradox Interactive/Hearts of Iron IV/mods_registry.json. No need to delete the file itself and I suggest you don't since I tried it, followed by me verifying integrity of the files and not getting it back.
4. Delete all ugc files of the mods you are not working on. This is the culprit of the problem, in that they remain despite the mods themselves being wiped out in the uninstalling of the mods. Location of the ugcs are in /Documents/Paradox Interactive/Hearts of Iron IV/mod.
5. Reinstall all mods.

i keep getting these map defition errors and when i looked into the error logs, it tells me that i dont have a .mod file of this

@HK416, no since the history files were changed in this mod and doing that change will break RT56 compatibility.

@ckfeliz any fiddling with admiral/general/country leader names will result in the checksum changing and therefore being ironman incompatible

Hi, when I turned this mod on, I cannot get achievements even on ironman.
Is it because that the naval general's names are modified or due to some other reasons?

If it was then the mod files most likely got corrupted by the launcher. Try this; “close the launcher and queue or uninstall the update/mod. It may or may not fix it but it worked for me, go to Steam > steamapps > workshop > downloads, then delete everything on the downloads folder and try subscribing/installing a mod.”

Awesome mod! But.... Bismarck shouldn't be commanding wolfpacks, Illustrious should be an air controller and warspite should be the one who knows fleet formations .
