Hello very nice mod I just wish i could turn off synthread, hyperweave and plasteel options because i find them too strong, if you'd have any interest to do that at some point

Quick question about plasteel thread. Is there actually any use for that material? It says high-end clothes but so far nothing I've seen in the game every used this.

does the patch for salvaging need to be done by you or can a race with their own cloth add native support? Sry, I'm not familiar with the change to this and I can't link the race mod because it's hidden. But I have the original files etc as a co-creator.

Salvaging is part of the base game code. It should be based on the amount of health in the item. Just like when you break down armor and weapons latter in the game.

What % of the resources used to make a piece of apparel do you get back from salvaging? Can I adjust this number in mod options? I'm worried about getting too much and it making the game too easy. Thanks

Mringasa yes I have coded the Salvage clothing as a smelt style recipe.

Thongor Think that more of a balance since Devil cloth is a more mid game thing. So its on the Loom and Tailor bench if i'm remembering correctly

Anyone who might be having an issue with salvaging apparel, toggle Smeltable on in your bill. I usually toggle it off and just use the Smelter for anything that is smeltable, but apparently if you do that it won't recognize cloth, linen cloth etc items as salvageable. Just toggle it on, and no issues.

Might be a mod conflict that causes this, but it works now for me. 1000% love this mod, and the family of mods, so happy as can be that it's working 100% now.

Hoi. Just noticed that there doesn't seem to be a recipe for devilstrand in the crafting spot. Started a tribal game today and that really sucked. You might wanna add that, or not. :D I fixed it for myself already. So cheers. Thanks for maintaining this up to this day btw. Subscribed to this since 1.0. :D

I have tested again and both mods keep crashing on start, while the lite version works. Maybe a 3rd mod is messing with those 2, but unfortunately i haven't been able to find it.

I have double checked it in the game i am currently testing around a 100 mods with mine. And it is working.

I am able to get Wool, Cloth, and leathers from the Loom. Tested with Cowboy Hats, Shirts, and Parkas.

Have you checked that your mod has updated since the 4-13 update?

I too am currently not receiving any kind of cloth from salvaging apparel. Salvaging items made of wood or steel, however, does return the appropriate resource.

Is the patch already automatically added in with the mod? Currently unable to salvage clothing, Linen Cloth and normal Cloth tested so far.
Or possibly, are there known mods that might conflict? I have nothing that adds any other fabrics to the game other than this one.

This mod seems to crash game on load when together with Better Wool Production - C# Edition ( https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3153216240 ) Doesnt even leave a log. Could it be because both have some kind of blended wool system?

When using VGP Garden Fabrics simplified game seems to launch normally.

Fabrics:
1.5 changed the way that the Salvage worked.
I have wrote a patch that allows the Core game, DLC, and this Mods Fabrics be able to be broke down from Apparel.

If you want another mods Fabric to be added.
Please let me know and i'll add a patch for it.

After talking to a game dev. I found out that the core code has been changed.

After thinking on what he said. I wrote a patch for the recycling.
It Changes core items. But salvage apparel works again.
And I could be breaking the game !!! :P

Anyway test it out.
The Change will only work with apparel made from Core Fabrics and ones in this mod Currently.

Thank you for answer! I just set the bill to salvage all the tainted apparel from corpses, so all kinds of apparel with various materials. Modded stuff as well of course, but it looks like it doesn't matter - after the salvage work is done, the apparel just disappears and there is nothing in return - whether it's hyperweave pants or cloth parka or leather toga (from VFE classical). I have checked other mods that allow to recycling and it looks they have some problems too, it might be something related to changes in 1.5 (but I'm only guessing now).

Sorry took me a bit to find the mod. The Muffalo Fleece comes from 'Better Wool Production C# Edition' I thought it was part of your mod. I've removed it for now.

the apparel salvage table has to be the most useful thing ever. no matter if I'm playing spacer or medieval I'm always breaking down tainted clothes for free fabric big thanks

hi, i would like to request a compatibility patch for MoreFloors1.4, because now i have 1 weaving spot for woolcloth and 1 so much better weaving spot for everything else - would be nice if your VGP one would include the woolcloth for the floors too :>

Do note, this did NOT happen in a different game with the same mods running, so it's a specific situation that triggers it anyway. So even giving you the mod list might not help.

To be clear - it was a "game just turns itself off" kind of crash. My "testing" was removing mods in batches of five, then when game started working as intended, checking that all mods but this could be reinstated without the game crashing. Just Ooga Booga Things.

I had an existing colony - tens of hours in - crash without warning or error message. Testing revealed this mod as the culprit, unsub/resub did nothing, but swapping it for Fabrics simplified *did* work.
Just in case someone else has a similar problem. I don't really know back-end, so I don't know how to help in any way.
