Means it will produce bio waste and need the live stock farm with the slaughterhouse.
Maybe, for balance, this could be slightly tweaked (adding a real demand for water and maybe slightly increasing the crop requirement to like 0.6 instead of 0.5)
Maybe if it would generate some edible food in parallel to the meat, think of the chicken eggs...
20 people is just too many. Otherwise, love your mods for small scale farming, they create this comfy atmosphere when you are starting with a small village and building it up.
This one is another part I would love but tbh don't know if possible to do.
What I remind from east area called Kollektiv. There was Farmers got Land from Country to work and give a Part to Kollektiv.
A Farm Houses with no Food consumption and low Food production and the possibility to store a small ammount and collect with a van. Do you think this Sound possible as mod?
of course you could spam the whole republic with poultry...
Would love to see a larger, more industrial version like the large greenhouse mod on here.
Also, do you know if there's any good guides to getting started modding building? Would love to give it a go myself.

But why not do it also on a large scale, this can be interesting.
