it's weird. I havn't tests this mod for a long time though, maybe latest update broke it. I might investigate

Question have used this mod on new map but when Industry levelled up (goods factory) it reverted back to Vanilla settings is this conflict with another mod or something not forseen?

@RolandBP You may use "Upgrade tool" mod for refreshing industries settings in any existing save and premade maps. https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1967520065

@RolandBP : I believe pre-made maps store industries the same way save game does, and this mod can't apply over existing industries (but generated ones)

Hmm it is a mod that makes sense as far as making Tools goes.
I will give it a try on my next map.

I've been using new games, will other certain mods stop it working, or user created maps?

It sadly doesn't apply well to existing saves and I can't do much about it. The best way to use this mod is to start a new game with it enable.

you're right, vanilla is 1 plank for 1 tool. I fixed my description. it doesn't change the mod though.
@Caamo : yep, it does more. this one just offer a small preset, keeping the vanilla flavour and just changing the industries that I personaly feel doesn't fit. But it's maybe my own taste.

In Vanilla there are 1 plank for Tools, not 2.
